How does finishing 17th, then 11th, then 4th* (and just two points off 2nd) suggest he blows hot and cold? It suggests that he rebuilt the side he inherited and turned them into a top four side over a two-year period, and used youth and built an exciting style. I'm confused how you've said 'hot and cold'... * - with the youngest squad and with an exciting style of play ** - his oldest outfield is 33 year old Bodmer, next oldest is 28 - most of the squad is 18-25

Expecting to see a lot of: 'I don't really know him' = 'He can't be good'

Good of Sky to catch up, nine day after The Telegraph reported 'further interviews' with him. 'Sky Sources' and 'Breaking' though, obviously...

I stand corrected! Scores well on here ---> https://www.whoscored.com/Players/10454/Show/Djibril-Sidibe Linked to Watford for £12m in the Mail last month. -
as Batman says above, Lucy Powell goes. Here's how it's looking right now...

I expect it to be Claude Puel and he'll be in place by the time the players get on the training pitch, which is next Monday. (?)

Doubt it. Seems like Sidibé is a RB first and a LB as cover. -
Picking up some influence on our transfer dealings...? Being reported that Saints have contacted Lille for Djibril Sidibé and Sofiane Boufal.

Djibril Sidibé being linked. Guglielmo Cannavale of Sky... Southampton have contacted Lille for Boufal (but Chelsea lead the race) and Sidibè #saintsfc Sofiane Boufal - 22 year old attacking midfielder for Lille, scored 14 in 43 and capped for France Djibril Sidibé - 23-year-old defender who can play RB and LB, 6ft, played over 100 games for Lille already and capped for France at youth levels/U21 -
What if Boris (or whoever) doesn't trigger Article 50 but recommends we stay under new concessions? Especially if he then calls a second referendum years down the line, and gets the 2% (or so) swing needed to return a 'remain' vote from the population? (not my views or hopes, but just a theoretical Q)
-
TLDR summary... In short: Dave has handed the baton on to whoever comes in, which as a result, will result in the whole Tory leadership campaign being focused around one question... "Are you going to trigger Article 50?" 1. If Boris/whoever wriggles or gets twitchy, they're ruined. 2. If Boris/whoever doesn't wriggle but doesn't activate it, they're ruined. 3. If Boris/whoever doesn't wriggle and does activate it, they're ruined and go down as the man who saw the break-up of the union and the rough formative period that follows. Dave may well have just thrown the ultimate hot potato at Boris.

What do people think of this Guardian comment? Has Dave snookered Boris?

Don't quite get this logic. Morgan and Adam were relegated to L1 with us, so they must be utter ****e. -
Okay, so what do people make of this theory from David Allen Green who is the law and policy man for the FT...? Sounds far-fetched to me but well, it'd be interesting... Summary of his tweets this evening... There's no reason for Article 50 not to be immediately activated upon a 'leave' victory in a referendum. With every day that passes, the activation of Article 50 seems less likely. So, what happens next? Cameron goes. Boris - most likely - gets into Number 10 and heads off for the talks with Europe before deciding that he isn't going to activate Article 50 after all and he advises that it's best for us to stay in the EU with some 'new' concessions that he can secure. It effectively reduces everything that's happened in recent months to an underhanded plot to get Dave out of Downing Street and get Boris in. Thoughts... Estadio Deportivo reporting that we're hoping to sign Vicente Iborra from Sevilla. West Brom and West Ham have also been watching him. -
OGC Nice's statement when Puel left the club this summer: "We had planned to see each other once the season was completed. "With a cool head and clear ideas we took stock and discussed the future. At the end of this turn of rich and constructive horizon, we took, by common consent, the decision not to continue working. "Our common history ends today with deep respect, and with job satisfaction. We lived four seasons of intense emotions, and took considerable pleasure to jointly develop the project at OGC Nice. "We are so grateful for each other, this great human and sporting adventure that began in 2012. "While a page is turned, the direction of OGC Nice and Claude Puel, true to their ambitions, wish the best for the future." Not the greatest translation but you get the gist.

Cameron: 'I'm very proud and very honoured to have been Prime Minister of this country for six years. I believe we've made great steps: more people in work, reforms to education... and enabling those who love each other to get married, no matter their sexuality. And restoring our economic strength. We have to confront big decisions, not duck them. That's why we went into coalition and why we delivered a fair and legal referendum in Scotland and it's why I held a referendum on our EU membership.' 'I gave my views: head, heart and soul. I made clear my views and I made clear that it was about this, and this alone. And I made clear it wasn't about any politician. However, I recognise the need for fresh leadership.' 'I do not think it would be right for me to be the captain that steers our nation's ship. I do think it's in our interest to have stability. I won't set a date, but I think we should have a new Prime Minister in place by the time of the Conservative Party Conference in October.'

Cameron: 'We should be proud of the fact that we trusted the people. There are times when it is right to ask the people themselves, and that is what we have done. The British people have chosen to leave, and their will must be respected.'

Resignation coming at 08:00, apparently...

Erm, it could be argued that it is if you look at Nice's resources, the blooding of youngsters and the style of football Nice played last season. Won a lot of admirers. They finished just two points off finishing second only to PSG.
