  1. I still think a better summer of preparation and transfer activity could have prevented a couple of defeats, at least. And yes, I have less to say after a win than a defeat. Think about it, its not rocket science.
  2. The London Arms. Great pub, good DJ, couldnt give a **** about the sexuality of the clientelle.
  3. Strange that. We didnt get home until 4am, were completely p*ssed, had a curry and a boogie, and I ended up getting her up the duff again afterwards. Sounds like all the essential ingredients for a night out...
  4. J-Rod is making a very good late claim for POTS.
  5. If we do the business tomorrow, you will have 5 opportunities for this in the weeks to come. I have considered 40pts as the tipping point all season.
  6. Didnt have him down as being thin-skinned..
  7. On my last night out in Soton I found no cause to go further than Oxford St. Has everything, except chavs.
  8. That list is truly f**king hilarious. Talk about clutching at straws with some of them. Hey pap, a serious question. You hail from the same neck of the woods as me. Why dont you drop the professional Whining Scouser act for a bit ?
  9. Top, top drawer post, my friend. The utter dishonesty of the left never fails to amuse me. Thatcher did her best to sort out the utter f**king mess the previous decade of Labour Government had wreaked upon Britain, much like Cameron in his head thinks hes doing the same after Blair and Brown trashed Britain again (although he hasnt Maggies balls or majority to do the job..) Britain was nearly bankrupted and its industries ruined forever by power-hungry greedy union bosses and a Labour government that either actively colluded or sat by wringing its hands doing nothing. Take the miners strike in 1984.... Scargill refused to ballot his membership properly, he simply wanted to bring down the democratically elected (majority 144) government whose hue and politics he didnt like, in the same way as he predecessors had done in 1974 to Heath. what he didnt realise was this was a battle the Government could never have allowed itself to lose, and when the dust settled his actions had led to the destruction of the rest of the industry (and union representation in general) he claimed to be championing (bizarrely, next time round, a lot people said he was right and there was a lot more resistance, but he had blown the real window of opportunity on an egotistical power trip) Longbridge, the heart of the British Car Industry.... Red Robbos entry on Wiki : 'According to the BBC, "between 1978 and 1979 Mr Robinson was credited with causing 523 walk-outs at Longbridge, costing an estimated £200m in lost production".' 200m then is about 2bn now. There was no way BMW were ever able to turn that busted flush around.
  10. If we are going to talk about Maggie loading guns and Major pulling triggers, lets not forget Heseltine pointed it. Oh, that gets forgotten because he is left-wing. How convenient.
  11. Yes, and what a cracking pair of legs Tara Fitzgerald had in that pencil skirt. Not suprised Obi-Wan sh*gged her.
  12. According to a BBC article written at the time the Queen Mum died, and linked somewhere on the Guardian site today, the differences between a state funeral and a ceremonial funeral are very subtle. The main one is that with a ceremonial funeral, the deceased doesnt lay in state for any period at all. The vigil for the Queen Mum was not laying in state. Churchill laid in state. The other one is concerning which elements of the Armed Forces transport the coffin to the funeral service. Apparently a state funeral offers up a horse-driven gun carriage, and a ceremonial funeral involves sailors. Well, that was what I understood anyway.
  13. I cant imagine those on the political right taking such mouthy pathetic pot-shots if a political opponent died, like Adams, Galloway and Livingstone have. Truly without class..
  14. Blimey, even Pie-Face has managed to demonstrate a moment of grace. Tells you all you need to know about Galloway and Adams.
  15. Dont know why they didnt leave Keith Park there...
  16. Yeah, 'cos its b*ll*cks.
  17. What a load of b*ll*cks. The unions destroyed the industry of Britain.
  18. So, so true. Born above a green-grocers shop, fought the establishment the entire way, compare and contrast to the three spolit-brat silver-spoon chinless boys-wonder in charge of the political parties today. Clegg and Millband havent even had the grace to say something yet.
  19. Superb, trousers
  20. Chill, dude. He gets off on the notoriety. He's probably tossing away to the abuse hes getting on Twitter already. The worst thing you can do with a tw*t like that is get worked up.
  21. The EU has proven itself worthy of her contempt. And she probably only got self-opinionated in Cabinet because she realised towards the end she was surrounded by bellends who couldnt organise a p*ss-up in a brewery. Look at the Tory party now.
  22. This. She did what she thought was right, and stuck to it however unpopular it made her. And for a fleeting moment of history, she stopped Britains nose-dive into the gutter dead in its tracks. The quality of her Premiership is only re-iterated by the utterly woeful leadership of all the PMs that have come since. No doubt the childish un-democratic loony left "progressive" tw*ts will be dancing on the streets tonight... Watch the BBC work itself up into a proper frenzy...
  23. Shes a fat cow, whatever you think of her compensayshun mentality.
  24. Have the f**kers had their points deducted yet ? They are about to weasel out of the relegation they fully deserve, the c*nts.
  25. Mid table ? Hopefully Obscurity ? Certainly not. We are back on the footballing map. Perfectly happy with things the way they are. If we had done something daft like qualify for Europe, we'd be back down again next season. One step at a time. This season looks like a massive achievement. Thanks to both NA and MP.
