Who would we be higher under, Adkins or Pochettino?
alpine_saint replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
Pochettino needs a summer of transfer and pre-season preparation to get us to the next level. NA was the guy to get us through to the end of the season with our PL place intact. The timing of the management change, when we should have been focused on improving the playing squad, was absolutely dire. I am wondering how it could have been worse. -

And which one do you think is most likely : NA taking the p*ss, or NC ? I know which one I think...NC already has history. IMO, if there is a contract, there shouldnt be anything to take to a tribunal. But thats where they are heading... -
Saints charged by FA for failing to control players vs Norwich

Wouldnt suprise me. Neither would some sort of bizarre Hodgson link (we need the English Liverpool players to get as much practice against European opposition as possible for qualifying matches and Liverpool arent going to earn a Euro spot any other way). -

Have to agree. Goes woefully absent when a man's performance is needed from him. -

You know, I could forgive NC almost anything about his apparently pr!ckly business approach, but not this. NA delivered 2 promotions to the club, bringing us back the big-time. Now arguably he has been found wanting at this level (but he was improving and we'll never know now..), but he deserves to receive what he is entitled to as stipulated by his contract. NC is being a bell-end. And now I wonder if his obsessive control-freakery has cost us certain signings and ultimately the PL place NA worked so hard to achieve. -

For me the club management on- and off-field simply havent done enough to ensure PL football next year. If we survive it will be fortunate happenstance... -

Surprising that supposedly intelligent experienced officals have got carried away with the hype. -
Cable is a grade "A" prat. Everytime I see his ridiculous gurning face on TV the words that come out of his mouth impress me less and less. If he really is so highly regarded in LibTw*t circles, it speaks volume about the quality of the rest of them. Tim Farron was spot-on over the weekend. A crackpot protest party, utterly clueless in the realities of governing, power hungry and utterly immoral in its conduct.

Actually, its 99.8%. Of the 3 "no" votes, I reckon statistically at least one will have been a screw-up by an illiterate moron, and another a prank by someone with an odd sense of humour. If the world/UN doesnt now slam the door on Argentina's whining, it will demonstrate that its value of freedom and democractic principles is a sham. And Obama should be utterly ashamed of his behaviour on this.

I think you'll find he said the opposite, dude. -

I never whine about how some posters should be banned. Unlike some of you, I am able to integrate the idea that not everyone agrees with me. Tamesaint is ALWAYS whining that so-and-so should be banned. -

Apart from the fact that my IP address is so different from those of you in the UK. -

I suspect that there wouldnt be much in it. We still would have lost to QPR, we still would have odd selections and substitutions. Our mistakes started over the summer with how the squad was strengthened and prepared for the season. -

B*ll*cks. I have no alter egos whatsoever. -

Why dont you give it a rest with your incessant foul whining ? -

Why do you bother ? IMO you are spot on, but nobody here wants to hear it now because you are just being a troll or a miserable c*nt, and nobody will want to hear your shouts of frustration about seeing it coming over the summer because then you are just being an attention-seeking told-you-so. I've largely given up entering heavy debates on here, because it always goes in the same abusive direction. -

When do we expect the result of the referendum to be announced ? Can take too long to count 1,800 votes, I reckon. I am hoping for 100% yes vote, but you can never leglislate for the odd insane sheep-shaager whos spent too much time on his own. -
I havent got a lot to say about the situation at SMS at the moment; it feels like I've just sat on Nemesis at Alton Towers and we've pulling away from the station- I should screw my eyes up and hope for the best.... However, I do have the impression, and it may be wrong because I havent checked our line-ups over the last 4 or 5 games, that our loss of form has coincided with Lallana's last return from injury. I have always had a slight "all fart and no sh*t / headless chicken" impression about him. And him being included means someone like Puncheon, who has made a massive contribution this season, gets left out.

I am happy for DigDig to carry on being DigDig, especially if he carries on getting up your nose like this.

Yep, I remember that too. I think it was the same game when he started a run clear through to goal only to see Lampard try a 40-yarder (that obviously, knowing Lampard for England, ended up in Row Z) What really surprises me is that VectisSaint believes that era was particularly bad for the England clique. To me, its just as bad now under Hodgson.

Hopefully u are right. This could get ugly- very ugly - very quickly. The US wont allow S. Korea to be attacked. If N.Korea attack this will escalate very quickly. Lets' hope the Chinese keep a cool head. My understaning is that although China is a nuclear nation, they dont have high numbers of accurate delivery systems. Large areas of China, and N.Korea could be very quickly wiped off the map

Well yes, this, BUT this situation will be switched into full reverse if we get relegated this season. I cant see the Liebherrs stumpfing up another 38m with no return.......
