  1. The bit in the film where they ignore their CO and blow the Nazis out of the sky, during their training flight thats caught in the middle of an air battle, and they all answer "repeat please" when he shouts at them as they break formation, is f**king hillarious.
  2. I hate the sh*t the Poles are getting in the UK (actually, they get slagged off here too) My personal experience of them is a polite, honest, hard-working people. Every nationality has its bad eggs, and theirs are no worse than meat-headed mongs with "Made in England" tatooed on their knuckles. My own experience of them in Soton (when we lived there from 2004-2008 ) : They couldnt find enough places for the first school kids in central Soton schools, so my sons school (St. Patricks in Woolston) was swamped. The school really struggled to absorb the numbers and the varying grasps of English, and it caused temporary standards drop according to the very narrow benchmarks used by parents (not sure the OFSTED data agrees). As far as I am aware, the standards have recovered. My parents neighbours are Polish, having worked their arses off and bought the house. No problems whatsoever encountered. My neighbour is a bricklayer, and his business was devastated by the cheap job Polish brickies do. He of course *****ed about the quality of their work, but I wasnt convinced (though didnt say so, he was a big lad) I noticed on Bitterne Precinct and Shirley High Street all the odd shops opening up. Overall, I would say the Polish have caused no problems through being Polish. However, I can see how the sheer numbers put a massive strain on central services. Only a while back Soton City Council were consolidating school places by merging schools, are they reversing that trend now ? The UK has one of the highest birth rates in Europe.
  3. Of course you do.
  4. Because he is entitled to his opinion and has presented his arguments in a reasonable manner. And anyone who claims they dont strike a chord with them to at least a slight degree is a liar. It speaks volumes about Mr "Win It For Ricky Martin" that he finds it to be trolling.
  5. Spot on. But the fact that this has been started as a thread suggests to me that the unthinkable is becoming thinkable. We are dropping far too many points from winning positions.
  6. Yep, putting aside your reputation, it has to be said you are right about the two massive body blows our first PL season for 7 years has received.
  7. One can view this as a point won, or 2 points lost. Have to say I view it as the latter, and my new-found positivity has evaporated. Very concerned to hear we have less points at this stage than in 2005. And it seems Ramirez has finally convinced many that he is a f**k-off great waste of money that distracted our transfer window efforts from more urgent matters. As I said earlier this week, NC has to stand and face the music over his priorities in the window just closed. Only bought one player because he changed the management, and that player appears like hes not going to be fit enough to play soon enough to make a difference. The transfer window feels like an exercise in rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
  8. Manyoooo are far ahead of the slummy side of their city in the table, and we just reamed their arses for the best part of an hour. Not predicting a win, but why should a draw be such a ridiculous prospect ?
  9. I havent voted because I really dont know. Could easily go either way. Our first 11 are good enough to stay up. But due to Cortese's focus being in the wrong place in this window, changing manager now instead of in the summer or last summer and then failing to back him up with a couple of signings, we are imo 2 or 3 injuries away from relegation.
  10. Jesus, what sort of question is this ? NO.
  11. Doesnt mean it wont help motivate our players. If I started banging on about "So f**king what, we lost", I'd get a stream of abuse for being negative on here.
  12. Scharner still has 2 days to p*ss everyone off at Chips N' Mushy Peas FC
  13. Good news for us. He's a troublemaker in the dressing room
  14. High praise indeed. Definitely something for the players to take to heart.
  15. Jesus. Really ? Well done lads, made Ferguson and co sh*t themselves. Nice one. After tonight, we shouldnt fear anyone.
  16. Won the European Cup ?
  17. Why ? No-one here reckons we have a chance. I am perfectly relaxed about this match.
  18. Was just wondering the same thing.
  19. And who is our Matty ?
  20. Oh, well. Rather he was sick in a dead cert defeat than against the likes of Reading or Wigan..
  21. LOL. I'm mad, the missus is Catholic.
  22. My, your issues with me must be pretty lame if you have to embelish your attack with totally false accusations like the ones I have highlighted. Some of you need to GROW UP and accept not everyone is a bellend happy-clappy.
  23. This. We could certainly do a Blackburn, but it would never last. We simply arent "big" enough (not in captial, inadequate history/prestige, insufficient fan base, etc.)
