  1. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2275242/Stamps-mark-150-year-anniversary-Association-Football-released-Royal-Mail-including-Bobby-Moore-Denis-Law-George-Best.html#axzz2KITWkNHw John Barnes ? Do f**k off. What is the most underachieving tw*t in Englands playing history doing there ?
  2. Yuck. White and diahorrea...
  3. And look at all the skeletons coming out during the trial: Second affair Forced wife into abortion Cheeky expense claims He really is an advertisement for everything wrong with UK politics in general, and the LibDems specifically. If they dont kick him out of their party PDQ, they will lose the by-election. The LibDems are an utter f**king joke, getting in the way of the Tories trying to sort out the mess Labour left. The boundary change block was a dishonest disgrace that should have broken the coallition. what the f**k were all you LibDem voters thinking ?
  4. I share your suspicion. For me, if there is a pot left behind by Markus, it doesnt count as a "commercial stream", and NC has this in mind too. All this wind and p*ss about the loan is an irrelevancy, imo. We took that loan out for some sort of short-term cash-flow or tax reason, I suspect. NC is a Swiss banker, FFS. He will know all the moves..
  5. You reckon ? It sounds like we wont be able to dip into Markus's fund any more.
  6. Yeah, but its not going to do us a lot of good now, is it ? Maybe this is why stadium expansion is being talked up at the moment.
  7. Yep. The FL is a private institution where you are a member. They pulled the same stunt with us during the Pinnacle bid.
  8. Fair enough. Seems the fat lady is warming her vocal chords. Though in fairness, they still have about 6 months to get the FL to change their minds or PST to get their act together. However, it does sound like the FL has tired of this issue.
  9. Who the f**k is Keith Harris ? I assume its not the bloke renowned for fisting green birds and monkeys. I also dont get the schadenfreude towards PST on here. Whether we like it or not, the charade about their fans ownership kept the bastard entity known as PFC going long enough for another bid to come crawling out of the woodwork. This is a major result for the blue scum
  10. Favourite - Porn Least Favorurite - Horror
  11. Fantastic skiier, bad loser, complex personal life.
  12. In fairness to FF, the Waterstones evening was set-up some time ago, probably before the "clear the air" meeting proposal was made. MLT should have shown the necessary mental agility to dead-bat any questions related to this. He only had to say something like its not possible to commment on the issue at that time.
  13. Sounds like it... I will be eternally grateful to MLT for keeping us at the top level of the game and scoring some jaw-dropping goals over the years, but his behaviour has been questionable since his retirement. The support of Pinnacle, the bet-fixing issue, the feud with NC; I wonder if he is somehow bored or unfocused out of the game ?
  14. Yep, really enjoy the Winter Olympics. Still feels like genuine sport, not like the Summer Circus. Also somewhat satisified that the one significant fly-in-the-ointment to this sporting spirit, Lynsey Vonn, appears likely to miss it. She's a one-woman circus.
  15. This government is spineless and pathetic. The minutae about Gove's plan might have been flawed, but the principles were the right ones to bring us into line with other European nations in the 21st century. At least the coursework is still being ditched for proper examinations.
  16. Beginning to think we wont see him feature much this season.
  17. If they do that they can forget the general election after. But I thought the next Defence Review is in 2015, meaning they wont be in power anyway.
  18. This bloke with the white skin and German name (descendant of a run-away Nazi, perhaps) is so lacking self-awareness, its hillarious.
  19. I hate Twitter and Facebook. It turns perfectly intelligent respectable people into embarassing, twisted, obsessed fish-wives.
  20. Even if NCs agreement to the talks was a calculated act with MLTs Q&A coming up, MLT didnt have to fall into it so easily. Personally, I dont think the talks agreement was such a calculated act, and I think MLT has let the Sky celebrity pundit status go to his head and hes acting like a big-mouthed bell-end. Its a tragic situation, but MLT has ruined a chance to bury the hatchet. NC has behaved exactly as I would expect a Swiss banker to act over this (it wasnt an unexepected out-of-character response for anybody but a moron), and to be fair, I sympathise with him not wanting this turned into a media circus. Even the statement confirming the cancellation was reasonably dignified. If MLT wants a role or friendly association with the club, he has to shut his mouth and grow up a bit.
  21. Well, whoever the candidate is, you should offer your PR services
  22. At least it wont be as bad as being able to blame close-shave relegation on one game. Unless you feel the points dropped in one of those games were even more criminal than the others (Stoke ? It was a 2-goal lead)
  23. Should have drawn with City at home too. Thanks, Danny. Arsenal at home too.
  24. So after all the wind and p*ss from him, wasting taxpayers money dragging the investigation out, hes finally pleaded guilty knowing full well he's bang-to-rights and facing a bigger sentence if he keeps his squealing up. What a prize bellend. He really is a piece of work.
  25. And you've been trolling for years. His OP was absolutely fine, and merited discussion by interested people with mental ages reasonably elevated above infancy. I think hes wrong but can understand why some people think like that. But thanks for admitting you play the man and not the ball.
