Hands up those of you confident of going into the Man C. game with a central partnership of Hooiveld and Fonte....
-
Methinks you missed the point with The Smiths. That's EXACTLY how they were supposed to sound, though they pre-date the "emo" tag. Very good description though.
-
TCM = Dune = Turkish = Sour Mash = CB Fry ? B*ll*cks. Dont believe it.
-
Yes, he should start. Much as he is our saviour, sounds to me from his pre-season effort that Rickie needs to be benched for this game.
-
Maybe, but our summers transfer activity is starting to look very underwhelming. Its utterly bizarre that our central defence issues have not been addressed, especially as Fonte has been making mistakes in the pre-season matches again.

Nope. Have nothing at all against homosexuals. Worked in gay bars and shared a house with a gay lad as a student. Have always defended people's rights to have sex and love whoever they want. But Morrissey is a poof.

Its totally unusable. That background plays havoc with the screen layout, and I couldnt recover a single news item.

Leaning, or elbows ? She's a hairy-necked convict against my alabaster-skinned babe. Whats not to get obsessed about ?

He's been stepping on the line for a while now. I didnt care for the comment he made about the boxers last week, to be honest. But the site has lost something with his permanent ban. Racism cannot be tolerated, but he was great discussion and comedy value.

Lords reform to be abandoned - Are the Lib Dems...

Yep. Spot on analysis. The LibDems show more and more with each passing day their total lack of fitness for governance. -

I didnt say they arent too expensive or behind schedule, but you dont have a clue (revenge is sooo sweet) about what is required in terms of design methodology, qualification and risk assessment for complex safety-critical systems. I do. They are a bastard to get right and are arguably never completely finished. You just turn the oven knob to 210deg anyway.. -
Morrissey was an important figure in the history of pop music and in my teen years whilst heading The Smiths, but his solo stuff has never been much cop and now he's just a fat big-mouthed poof.

I know my beloved Victoria is not exactly popular amongst Team GB cycling for knobbing the coach, but I dont understand why the cycling officals have gone after her in this Olympics. Anna Mears should have also been relegated for the elbows, so the first heat should have been re-run. Cheating was the only way the Mears was going to win, and whilst Victoria shows her class by hugging her at the medal ceremony, Mears goes to the press talking about "just rewards". F**k off you pathetic convict. Victoria lost her momentum after that and losing heat 2 was inevitable. She was therefore stiched up in at least one of her events. To me there is no doubt she is currently the greatest woman track cyclist on the planet, that keirin run was absolutely amazing. Enjoy your retirement, my love..

Still doesnt mean she would have let the team down. How were they to know how the sick girl was going to ride ?

I work in complex electronic safety-critical systems, and I admit your comments are spot-on. So what if Astute needs a refit once the technology is proven and qualified ? Probably Ambush, Artful and Audacious will be / are fine and up-to-date. You are full of it, TDD. -

Give an example, troll. -
You'll get the 'ole goosebumps and lump-in-trousers back once the season starts... Yes, PFC are dragging the good name of football through the mud and the authorities appear to be turning a blind eye, but their time will come... Has to be said though, the sporting sentiment, effort and will-power of the sportsmen and women in the Olympics has really shown football up for the den of sh*teness that it really is....
-
Who is to say they wouldnt have got at least one of the WRs with her riding instead ? One of the 3 girls was SICK for the semi-final. Why couldnt she have ridden and ensured her medal as part of the team ? She also trained over 4 years for this event, and doesnt even go away with a medal that all the girls she trained with have. Sorry, I am with her on this. Though I wouldnt have gone public. Seems to me there IS a personal issue going on in that group.

Do we send aid to Russia and India or not ? Defence policy and foreign policy are intertwined, the aid is going to the wrong part of the budget. I have no doubt the "kit" (in the broadest sense of the word to include ships and aircraft, not just bullet-proof vests) quality is good (although costing 3 times original procuement plans), but there isnt enough of it, just like there isnt enough of the people to use it. We are an island nation and our surface fleet is about 1/3 of the size it was during the Falklands War. Very, very, very bored of the shoulder-shruging "we do our job" mentality. -
So why is the message coming out of B*llsh*t HQ not one of paperwork being drafted and signed, deal going through, golden share returned, the King is dead, long live King Chinny ???
-
If PCC were to agree to this loan (and its very very close to the "deadline" - it must be the last throw of the dice), do we think it pushes PST over the finish line, so-to-speak ?
-
Maybe not far from the reality of the situation.
-
I cannot believe PCC will endorse a loan. They have duty of care to taxpayer's money.
