I always struggle with this "Dont you think NA and NC are busting a gut behind closed doors and know where we need to reinforce" guff, for the simple reason that every transfer we've closed so far this summer has been preceeded with plenty of gossip and tittle-tattle, which has come to the attention of this site. From what I can see, there has been NO serious sniffs at CB, GK and RW on this site for weeks.....

Imo, we've strengthened in less-urgent areas. One could argue that a decent GK, two CBs and some pace on the right was much, much more urgent than another RB and striker. Another CB was a reasonable move, and looks almost prescient seeing as Cork is now injured.

I was all for branding KP a money-obsessed billy-big-b*ll*cks, but stuff is beginning to surface that suggests there is some serious resentment about him within the England squad and he is being somewhat mobbed. The ECB needs to get a grip and sort this out, before it wrecks England as a Test-playing nation for a generation to come.
