7) Resigned to the inevitable in May 2013, but not particularly troubled by it either because the footballing world we now inhabit stinks.
-
And possibly a GK too. IMO you are right and the S-Clarke is utterly mistaken. EDIT:He's right about the frustrating week ahead though. I no longer have faith in NA and NC to do the correct business.
-
I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict that we dont manage to bring anyone in by the deadline.

Only reflecting the comments that were made.

This. Very much so. Except in reality its much less than 6 days.
-
We're in big trouble. Some of you saw this as a home banker. I expect there is now no doubt whatsoever left in everyones mind about the hope that our CBs are up to this level. The next week until the window shuts will go a long way to determine what league we are in next season.

ITunes have just done a big, big release of Zappa's back-cataolgue. Joe's Garage is a great album.
-
Why dont you put me on ignore then, if you dont want to discuss the perfectly valid point I make ? This bandwagon jumping is so tedious...

Works fine in Austria.

I know what you are trying to say, but this is not quite right. NC didnt forget. NC didnt know about it. I am sure Büttner is less than peeved for having to settle for Manyoo after losing out on us... As I said earlier, the biggest problem of the Ramirez transfer is that the clubs of potential targets now know what our transfer budget is, making it doubly difficult to close anything at a reasonable price. The situation is a total cluster-f*ck...

...which explains why we havent brought anyone in in weeks, despite glaring weaknesses in the team......
-
I hope we are proven wrong DPS, I really do. But I doubt it. I cannot see one player-per-day coming in now until the window closes. And that is what we need. I am ummmming and ahhing if it is worth returning all the sh*t on here I have got over the past week when the window closes.
-
And we've agreed terms with Bologna, have we ? I dont understand how we got to agree terms with the player if the club was never happy.
-
I have no problem and am delighted on a moral-level with NC trying to conduct business in a principled manner. However, he really is trying to swim uphill against the flow of the river, unfortunately. The only way his principled approach is going to work in a sea of dodgy dealings and "money talks" morals, is if NA and NC are able to "sell" the club - the facilities, their ambition, their leadership, and make transfer targets desperately want to be on the bus. This appears to the be the problem area and the reason for the "impasses", imo.

This thread makes more sense and is nearer to reality than the Ramierez threat, to be honest.

More toys-out-of-the-pram....
-
More playing the poster and not the post. Its the facts of the situation. You will have to deal with it sometime. Your dismissiveness is now threadbare. I now have question marks about whether we can maintain our PL position.

Another day, no sod it, another WEEK, and bugger-all has happened..... A massively underwhelming transfer window....
-
A glamorous and sexy deal on paper, definitely on a par with Keegan. Question is, how much substance would be delivered. Del Piero is getting on a bit...
-
If I were NA, I'd keep my mouth shut to the press until we close a deal, rather than come out with the empty carrot-stick sh*t every day.
-
Each to his own. Personally, thinking our club would pull off a transfer like this has to rate as a delusion of Pompey proportions.
-
This has to rate as the biggest waste of time thread in the history of the site.

Another day gone, another holding statement from the club, no signings. Very worried. I'll live with relegation, but not with maagement culpability.
