As an aside, I am of the opinion that if we finish second the 3 teams up will be Reading, Saints, Hammers. I just have this feeling that although being 3rd would still hurt them for a few days, what with their players playing at the higher level before, many having been relegated, and the fact that they had been playing catch-up to us for so long, that they would recover from the disappointment quicker and be better equiped to deliver the necessary performance in the play offs.
