  1. I'd rather slide dong up your tail pipe, mate.
  2. I'm going to go for all 3 winning too. But I reckon our game is going to be as tight as a nuns chuff, especially if Rickie doesnt play.
  3. Your pun is funny, but personally I hate the attention this insane delusional woman is getting. Its clearly planned, she'll in the Big Brother house and PR managed by Max Clifford any day soon.

Is his ban for p*ssing on the seats still running ? Is it true his bell breaks the ground rules and will be confiscated ?
  5. Indeed. I understand sentiment on the islands ranges between utter defiance, keep calm &carry on, let the f**kers try it again, and slight unease at the escalation in rhetoric. But even then, no-one is advocating negotiation. Current Argentine diplomacy has really screwed the pooch; put back relations with the islanders by about 25 years.
  6. I've already thought for a good long time that the very worst thing our fans (Northam "yoof", are you listening ?) can do, is engage with the Skate trouble-makers on Saturday. Not only does the Football League appear to not have a lot of love for us, the corridors of footballing power in England are stack with Wham sympathisers, just itching for an excuse to bolster Big Fat Sam's faltering promotion campaign.
  7. This. A perfect summary. Any further discussion is a waste of server space. Argentina added their claim to the Falklands to their constitution not so long ago, AND tore up all the previously-signed co-operation agreements with the UK. They have suddenly re-ignited this, for questionable reasons.
  8. What, never ? In the 80 years since they formed ?
  9. Fond, fond memories of Wigan. Went out with a girl from there for 6 months when I was at Uni. Great nights out at Wigan Pier.
  10. Great post. Heartily agree. Some of our fans are w*nkers.
  11. The only thing that matters is beating them. Them going out of business would just be a nice bonus.
  12. You've left me very worried for the run in. We must bounce back this weekend, or we are probably f**ked.
  13. He's clearly giving his opinion. Why must everything be punctuated with "imo" ? FWIW, I think he's right. Britain was knackered after WW2 and pushed around and had sand kicked in its collective eye by everybody, the worst eample of which has to be Suez (how stable might the region still be if we were still there ?). For the first time we got up off our knees, stood our ground and punched back.
  14. OK, my apologies.
  15. From the Uk (and Falkland) perspective of course, but I am convinced : http://falklandsnews.wordpress.com/2012/02/25/the-uk-answer-to-argentina-on-the-falklands/
  16. f**k me, where have you been for the last 100 years ? 1500 people died (including 550 from Southampton, almost all crew members) died when a ship hit a f**king iceberg and sank. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RMS_Titanic
  17. So all those families destroyed by their father, sons or brothers death just p*ssed off back to Liverpool or Belfast and there was no grief or hardship whatsoever experienced in the city, was there ? Really, this point about "birthplace" is at best a red herring, at worst a crock of sh*t. Its classical NIMBY b*ll*cks. And I would like to know from enlightened sages like you what exactly is deserving of a minutes silence at a football match then. 'Cos it aint Gary f**king Speed, I know that much. If you are suffering from "one-minute silence overload", fine. Recognise it for what it is - being fed-up with mawkishness for its own sake.
  18. This is bizarre. Most of the nay-sayers on here have said that they dont care if the club does something (lets assume a minutes silence for purposes of discussion) or not. So, the club should do something for those that think it is a good idea. What will the fans who vehemently think the club should not do something do during a minutes silence ? Shout, whilstle and disrupt it ?
  19. Whats the connection between my "negativity" and remembering the Titanic sinking ? You are one of the sharpest posters on here, but sometimes you dont half love the sound of your own voice (or typing...)
  20. I love it how get I accused of knowing nowt about football, on a site densely populated with (imo, thinly-veilled racist) abuse about Guly and abuse about Billy Sharp. Guly can turn a game, and frequently has done so, and Billy Sharp is getting his head and fitness together and is already showing his potential in patches. Some of you should STFU.
  21. I remember the first year Southampton City Council tried the German Xmas market. I read a letter in the Echo "If I wanted to look at a row of sheds, I would have gone to B & Q". There has always been a strong element of "I dont see any value in it, I am not interested, ergo its sh*t" in Southampton. It may be a behavour trait that runs throughout humanity, but to be honest I dont see it like that here in Austria. How does the club decide when to run a minutes silence ?
  22. "good old fashioned alpine trolling" = sticking by your guns, not shutting up, not being beaten into submission by abuse. I pity your intollerance.
  23. Swings and roundabouts my friend. Maybe if there were a visible community spirit, I wouldnt have left or maybe I would come back. And thanks for supporting the theory that multiculturalism has essentially destroyed Britian's identity, something I have long felt strongly about.
  24. No assuming anything, going on the reactions on here, which have surprised me with their shallowness in some cases. Yes, I do think "I'm alright Jack" NIMBYs are inferior.
