Maybe, but he was wrong about the Forest team.

A thoroughly nasty post, which draws a conclusion which will prove utterly wrong. As for the part I've highlighted, well that just goes to show what utter garbage you write. We are either a monarchy or a republic, and if there is no appetite for a republic, we will stay a monarchy, with a constantly evolving idea about what impact and privieleges the Royal Family will have.

I moved to Austria in 1997, but forget that one. I loaded my car up and simply drove over having booked P&O a few days before. Moved back to UK in 2004. That was f**king p*ss easy. I sent an inventory list to two removal companies by mail, they sent quotes back by mail within 24 hours, my new boss chose one and paid by company credit card same day. A week later they were here. Moved back to Austria in 2008. Was a few days f**k up between new company and removal firm, but didnt affect me & the family coming over, only our stuff. We were put in a hotel until it was all sorted out. A member of the HR department dealt with all the Central European bureaucracy that needed to be dealt with urgently on the first day, and the rest over the next 6 weeks. We had a flat waiting for our stuff within 3 weeks. Didnt stop me working in the slightest, except a couple of visits to the local authorities which took about 3 hours in total. Sorry, I still cannot see what the problem in Japan is. If TL aint here by Wednesday this deal has gone tits-up.

Perfectly captures my exasperation. That or "Does Player and Club still Want to Hook Up ?"
-
So what ? There are companies out there whose sole existence is to support activity like this. It would have taken a phone call from SFC.
-
Yep. I am 100% certain the course of action that NC has embarked on means parting with as little of MLs cash to Puncheon as he possibly can.
-
None. But then, the club being wound up or docked more points aint going to happen anway; the League which came down so hard on us is going to continue to turn a blind eye to illegal insolvent trading.
-
Puncheon has just committed professional suicide. No-one is going to pay out a transfer fee or agents fee for him now, and I have doubts that anyone will offer him a contract when hsi current one expires. NC has sent an unequivocal messagae to any potential big-time Charlies within the Saints set-up. Rot in reserves rather than disrupt the club all the way to a loss-making transfer. Bet he is on constant look-out to slap him with a gross-misconduct or other dismissable-without-contract-pay-up charge

A perfect illustration of why you should never vote Labour again
alpine_saint replied to dune's topic in The Lounge
Have voted Labour since I was 18. NEVER AGAIN. But in fairness, that curve for the UK was already on the upturn during John Major's time as PM. Look for yourself. -
Well, thats the $64,000 question, isnt it ? Seeing as NA was inidicating he would arrive this weekend and he might make it for Leicester, I would hope there would be an update from the club by mid-week if he hasnt arrived. Hes not a Saints player until the ink is drying on his contract. I hope some pr*ck like Allardyce is not trying to gazump us.

I am of the opinion that the Monarchy should end with the death of Elizabeth 2, mainly because of what comes after her. I did toy with the idea of supporting William to succeed after her, but he seems to be turning into as big a drip in a different world to the rest of us as his dad. However, I dont know what we should replace it with. All the commonly known systems like France and US seem to me bland and unimaginative. Retaining some pomp and circumstance would be good. For some reason, in the meantime I find criticism of the Queen, especially all the German jokes, extremely hard to tolerate. She has served this country absolutely brilliantly.

After the opportunities we've had to take this seasons Championship by the horns and make it ours, I will definitely bloody moan if we end up in the playoffs. Even though we have indeed made stunning progress in the last 2 years, it will definitely feel like a golden chance lost. I think your description of those who might dare to feel like this as "reactionary impatient ignorant morons" is unreasonable, self-opinionated and arrogant.
-
This, most definitely. Good post.
-
This too. Still worry a little about those silly Bristol City defeats, and if they will cost us.
-
I appreciate your rationale, but doubt it will be so decisive as you make out. We have already once lost out way this season, we could easily do it again. I do wonder if the Cork-on-the-right tactic is a decent sticking plaster NA has discovered, or it could be made to work mid-term if Chaplow struggles to return quickly to fitness and form I was thinking this afternoon that West Ham seem to have a scoring problem - they needed penalties in this game and against Portsmouth. Boro are going backwards, seems like its down to us, Cardiff and WHU.
-
OK, well thanks for being fair-minded.
-
Oh, the irony of you earlier whining..........
-
You mean I am getting infracted for repsonding to abuse ???
-
I suggest you have a good look at some of the words used in replies to me, matey. Ones you often quote and write "I agree" or "this" to...............
-
Of course. Alpine_saint expresses frustration with PFC letting a lead slip that would help us, turn into a defeat that definitely doesnt, along with about 30 other posters here, and his post is singled out for snide comments. Yep, definitely pulling up the wrong poster.....
-
Is there really a danger of this, or just our wishful thinking ?
-
Yep, there is no point giving sustantive answers to utter pedantic silliness like this. I didnt even write "dodgy" but you put it in quotes.
-
But its not any other business, you berk.
-
Always hoped that clubs would avoid being wound-up as a matter of principle. But PFC is so saturated in sleaze and dishonesty that on this occasion I really do agree with you. Feel sorry for all the really old Pompey codgers and founding fathers spinning in their graves if it does happen, but not the current bunch of in-bred mongs that support them.
-
Come on, do you really expect to blue filth down the M27 to put themselves out to get a result that benefits us ?
