I've never seen any of these BBC series, but I have an Austrian colleague who absolutely rants over them. Are they as good as they are cracked up to be ? I've seen one bit on You Tube, which is a scene set to "Same Old Scene" by Roxy Music ( a song I adore already), and its visualisation and mood reminids me very much of Miami Vice. Does anyone recommend investing in the DVDs ?

The high-speed broadband connections are like chains - one weak link takes them down, and the link can be anywhere. I would cite monthly conflicts with BT about my broadband connection going down for weeks at a time as one of the reasons I left the UK; I just couldnt be bothered with it and the work stress it caused me ever time. Reckon I didnt pay a penny for the last 6months, they kept refunding me as compensation.

Ridiculous, how you think I could even attempt the Über fan routine whilst living abroad is f**king bizarre. My point was that I helped finance the club in the only tangible way possible for an overseas fan, by buying merchandise. So I have accepted what ever pricing policy NC has attached to that aspect of the business. If you local fans want to go to home and away games, you have to do the same, I am afraid. And you can cut out the schlong-measuring contest about years supported and games attended and evoking the name of a sadly-departed hero who would have struggled to understand the pressures of the modern game and business; it doesnt impress me.
