We ALL care about SFC. We nearly went out of business a year ago. NC and ML have put serious moolah into the club, and the mewling and puking on here becaus fans are being asked to dig a little deeper to match their support a little is nauseating. Before I get slagged off, I'd like to point out that I have put more than 200quid in the last month via merchandise purchasing, into the clubs coffers.

We are supposed to be (re-)building a "winning mentality". If we cannot even beat a team we were giving charity hand-outs to a few years ago in the form of friendlies, FFS.........
-
I believe you. Nevertheless, the lynch mob/inquisition/bandwagon grows with every post from a small group of agenda-driven posters.
-
Hardly surprising; it means after all the hype, the club is p*ssing its renaissance / rebirth up against a wall........

I dont think so, reckon we will have a clearer picture by 5pm on Saturday though.
-
Nope, this has always looked like a long, hard slog of a season to me. Saturday's result has made it look a lot harder though. Its raised serious questions about our transfer policy, squad depth and our lack of tactial nous.
-
I think for one moment we should put aside our reaction to Saturday and think a little more about NCs reaction. If he has decided that AP has no long-term future at SFC, it maybe that our transfer activity for this summer is already over. If his #1 target is still promotion, I would suggest AP will be shown the door in the next week, possibly after the MK Dons game, in order to give the new manager a couple of weeks in the transfer market.

This "Its only one game FFS" comment is get oh-so worn out. We spent 2 MONTHS getting ready for this game, and were supposed to have prepared in such a manner as to hit the ground running. We were toothless up front, and demonstrated a complete lack of cover for RLs injury. We are clearly a one-man or two-man team. We had no Plan B for after we went behind. The team is in trouble; I wish people would look beyond the pretty but ineffectual stuff of the first half...

Yep, the stiches are unravelling....
-
That sounds a bit rude...
-
He shouldnt have started a new thread, agreed. But to describe his thoughts as "bollix" is a bit OTT.
-
Why is it inane ? If O'Neill wants a quick return to football, is interested in the challenge, and NC has grave doubts about AP, why shouldnt we go for it ?
-
Please elaborate.
-
Yes please.
-
In fairness, I agree with everything you wrote re AP and NC, but its been written on so many threads now.
-
So the "winning mentality" (tm AP) is not important this season ??
-
Wow, yet another fred....
-
Is this comment really necessary ? I reckon O'Neill is a better manager. Deal with it.
-
O'Neill by a long, long way.

This. Fed up with the winsome banal platitiudes.
