  1. What I dont get is why anybody interpreted it otherwise. I have made it clear I was giving him until Xmas. The only other thing I have written occasionally- during very poor performances and after poor results - that I would not be surprised to discover that NC is considering his options for the summer. I have never, repeat, never called for his sacking before the end of the season or during the summer. Anyone who claims otherwise is a f**king liar.
  2. So you reckon we would have dropped all those points even if we hadnt been chopping-and-changing the team due to having cup-tied players ?
  3. So, Lowe made three colossal errors of judgement, not just one. And some still question where the responsibility lies
  4. FFS, I have said (several times) I fully support him until Xmas and will review my decision based on where we are in the League (CCC or L1), and that is very much what most people think NC will do too. I have added that I will not offer any manager a blank cheque in terms of my support for an open-ended period of time. What the f**k is guarded or controversial about that ?? And what is with the totally bizarre change of subject ? Who is in to 1-upmanship now ???
  5. OK, I'll bite. Firstl, please direct me to this unequivocal proof of which you speak. Secondly, I think I was fairly even-handed in my opinion, that the FA Cup may have been the kick-start to our current impressive form. Overall, however, I think AP saw the league as a dead loss (hes only woken up recently to the possibilities) and only concentrated on the cups. That to me means they distracted from the League campaign
  6. I dont know how you keep it up, Glenn..
  7. If they havent sorted themselves out to the satisfaction of the FL by the time the season is starts, they get more points deduction for next season.
  8. What a pompous load of "either with me or against me" rubbish. You dont like my post content or style, so I must be not be as intelligent or educated as your little inner circle. How revealing... I bet you are a SaintsList member...
  9. Nope, not having this. Even assuming your version of events for one minute, it seems Lowe was talking to everyone except the people who should have been talking to - the FL. He should have been proactive enough to get their interpretation of the rules before consulting with fancy-dan lawyers about the corporate status of the club, which actually has nothing to do with membership of a private organisation. It is a measure of the man that he went with the Lawyers's view and didnt pay more attention to the FL. The decision to dock us points has nothing to do with law. Oh, and as for your last paragraph, forgive me for paying that as much attention as you do to the Salz story...
  10. Dear oh dear. I wonder if you realise just how obsessed and embarassing your posts appear. Of course, Lowe was completely shocked by Barclays bouncing a cheque and forcing us into admin wasnt he, because he was so sure that the clubs finances were fine and admin wasnt imminent.... That is even more condemning of the man, since there is a story on here that he told Anthony Salz a few weeks earlier admin was immiment. Does he suffer bipolar personality disorder ? I dont think so... Was he really so sure his "genius" set-up of club and PLC being separate would prevent the point deduction ? Condemn the man even further then, since that may sound good in corporate law, but it was clearly not in the spirit of the FL rule, and the FL being a private club means they can interpret the rules how they like. Did he bother speaking to the FL before Barclays bounced the cheque, having already admitted to Salz the club was on the edge ??? No ??? Bang to rights, imo...
  11. They are all big, crucial games now. No margin for error. This is exhausting..
  12. You just keep repeating the same, worn-out tedious sh*te, refusing to take in fairly robust rebuttals of your comments when posted, then make fun out of others for not answering your questions in a manner to your satisfaction. Back to that washing basket for you...
  13. Greed ? no. Dont reckon he made that much out of us second time around (though maybe he felt he would...) Incompetence ? Oh, yes. An overbearing belief that he is always right and in his infallability ? Deffo.
  14. In all seriousness, I dont think it was out of spite. But it was out of arrogance.
  15. Yaaaaawwwn..................
  16. Good post.
  17. Wow, the cadre of Lowe Luvvie apologists is alive-and-well. And...wow, look ! Who started the thread ??? It doesnt matter who swung the final axe. Lowe knew it was inevitable, knew the Leagues timing rules, felt he knew something they didnt (despite the League being their membership club), and made the worst decision in this clubs history by not taking the club into admin before the cut-off date. Anyone who disagrees with this assessment is a luvvie revisionist.
  18. A perfectly reasonable question if the lad involved isnt old enough to have seen Matt in his prime.
  19. The only irony he sees is in the washing basket.
  20. Short answer, yes. A lot of people had a great day out at Wemberlee, I know. Would have been better to go out of the JPT, get 6 extra points, and have that Wemberlee visit at the end of May. The FA cup run was a complete nuisance, but strangely enough it might have been the kick-in-the-pants responsible for our run-in form.
  21. Wrong on all counts. Yes, I called him lightweight. I accept the feedback on here that he has worked on the physical side of his game this season. I never called him crap. I have seen him play. D-. Must try harder...
  22. But the REALLY bizarre thing about this, is that so many think it is all down to AP, nothing to do with ML or NC, and are not in the slightest concerned about them walking away if their plan (due to the nature of the team management) fails to materialise and SFC starts to look like an endless money drain. SOGGY and others can criticise the likes of NC all they like for their over-ambition (impatience), but they have bankrolled the renaissance of this club, so they expect it to be done on their terms. What I am trying to say, in a somewhat messy manner, is that if I were face with the choice between AP staying and keeping the support of NC and ML (who we understand are a package), then the answer doesnt even bear discussion...
  23. Christ you are f**king boring. You are the only person on this site who actually is daft enough to think Burley did a good job. Or maybe it just guarantees you a little bit of attention.
  24. Nope, just not indulging wind-up merchants and sad-acts.
  25. Who is not backing him to continue, Nick ?
