I was wondering about Jaidi, Semi and Thomas myself, but then I also have doubts about whether Lallana and Schneiderlin can make the step-up too (I am sure that comes as no surprise). There is also the question as to whether we should be ambitious and get ourselves a bit more strength in goal. I would dearly love to think Connelly can put his injuries behind him at some point, but it seems we should think of another forward too.

I'm gonna be the optimist for once and say the play-offs are do-able, but there is no more margin for error. If we get to the play-offs, I reckon we could seriously do the other two teams. This would mean CCC footie next season. How many of our players who played in the starting line-up on Saturday could you see still there next season ?

Depends what he's doing there - if its just a motivational/good luck thing, none whatsoever. If he is there to get a feel of the spirit in the team and keep an eye on what AP is doing about such things pre-match, I still dont have a problem. If he is trying to communicate his tactical perspective, I would be outraged, but then I suspect AP would have sent him out with a flea in his ear. Considering the amount of money invested in the team, absolutely. Yes, if a "quiet word" hasnt worked, and to be fair, it appears to have made a significant difference.

Put it like this. Someone posted before Walsall about the outcome of that match getting AP the sack. If we lose to Huddersfield, I dont expect to AP to get the sack, but I suspect NCs mind will be made up about next season.
