I see Illingsworth has commented upon the fact that Killer has finally moved his family back to Sweden without an eyebrow raised by anyone at the club.
It does seem a shame, his partnership with Claus took as close to the big-time as we have been since '84 and his career was cut off in its prime.
Not really blaming anyone, just pondering on what might have been for player AND club...
We played Huddersfield and Bristol Rovers before we clicked (we then beat Rovers in the Cup), and Norwich and Charlton are the pick of the league and neither of them could beat us. I think we drew with Colchester early on as well.
I dont see your point, to be honest. I think we can win.
Very pleased by this result. Most pleased since we beat MK Dons after going behind.
Reason ? We defended a 1-0 lead. The defence did their job properly for once.
They went about the game with an intent, enthusiasm, energy and came within about 6 or 7 minutes of taking all 3 points, despite our expensive, "talented" and glamourous (for this league) team.
What a load of wishy-washy codswallop.
Finishing and putting the ball in the net is an integral part of the game, not some sort of f**king garnish.
You win a game by scoring GOALS, not by playing loads of tippy-tappy posession.
