Your post makes perfect sense, but I think an impatience to see the changes come to fruition, and for this fragility after working hard to take the lead to come to an end is perfectly understandable in a set of supporters who havent had much to cheer about for the last 5 years.

Some posters have been wishing him out of the club for months. It hasnt happened. Why not start wishing for him to keep focused, continuing to contribute to the team performance (which he clearly does), and for him to get a few goals ?

Agree. SFC would not have bothered dotting the "i"s and crossing the "t"s on his contract if they didnt expect the WP to be issued.

Its a fair question. From what I saw myself last week against Brentford and Brum, the team was better than what I witnessed last time I went. A lot better. But, I was really concerned about the way we sat back and invited the pressure after going ahead to Brentford, and how the entire team switched off after Brum equallised. The team has made progress of sorts, but the results have NOT improved and I stand by what I wrote: some of Pardew's comments are begging to sound a bit like some of Burley's worst platitude-driven flap-abouts.

Nobody has slagged ML off in my opinion. BUT : There does seem to be a large dose of history repeating itself going on. The team has made sod-all progress over the last 6 weeks in my opinion, despite money being spent on it, and the site is beginning to split itslef along the tired-old opinion lines of last season and the season before it. WHY ??? FFS, what exactly IS the drag factor on this clubs progress ??? And, like ART, am beginning to wonder if I am feeling deja vu from the Burley era...

I maintained all along that Woodward brought too much celebrity baggage with him, but that the idea of a sports psych was a good one. And so it has proven. We have changed ownership, changed management, changed players and still suffer that same comfort-zone underachieving losing sh*t.

I agree with this. Its a totally different management set-up, most of the players have changed, and the back-room staff have changed, but its still the same old lack-of-ambition sh*t being served up. WHY ???
