Yes, agree completely. So it has proven at Swansea. -

It may well be that we have a deal agreed somewhere just awaiting some trigger for the contracts to be signed. Personally I dont like that arrangement, because it allows other teams to come in, and I reckon we were caught napping like that with Toby. -

Hmm. What a fuss being made. Its not as if I even really accused the club of doing nothing in this post. I asked if anything was happening and expressed my frustration (which is actually partly caused by being shafted by AM and Toby). As usual, complete over-reaction in these parts... -

I hope you are right. My problem is that with such an "understanding" needing to lie dormant for a while, there is always the risk of being gazumped; something similar happened with Toby. -

Nope, you still cannot make a point or defend a position 5 years later without referring to your Messiah........ -
Personally think the only thing wrong is the yellow surround to the sponsors logo. It isnt that bad.

Hope the first thing he does is deck McClean...

Apart from possibly GK, I reckon CB is the most difficult position on the pitch to recruit real quality for, and we arent exactly top of the food chain... -

Go ahead and take the p*ss; but in my opinion anyone who is not concerned with only Fonte from last seasons back 5 remaining for the Toon game, and doesnt want to see the injection of a bit more quality, is a mug. -

Is anything really happening on the CB front ? not a lot of rumours out there. It feels a bit frustrating, I expected the club zoom right back with a signing after the Toby debacle. Even the Echo is saying its the last (but fairly significant) piece of the jigsaw missing... -
I agree... if we bring in another CB.
-
Bring hm in next year for nothing, on some nominal contract until he proves himself.
-
Sorry, I thought teams win games by scoring one more than the opposing team....

Yaaaawwwwwwnnnnnnnnn............

Won't be optimistic until I see who is replacing Toby
-
I'm guessing he's squandered another chance in the managements eyes. I wasn't about; how was he in Salzburg ?
-
Excellent summary
-
I did. I noticed you only sneered at one of the two I offered. I guess the other was ok by you, pedant.

Who are you rto judge ? I am not the only one who reappears during adveristy. I notice your post rate goes up as well, because you so love trying to take the moral high ground. You rarely express an opinion of your own about the club, much more interested in giving an opinion about fellow posters and their posts.

Wow. original....

Start your own f**king thread then. There are genuine questions to be answered about the Toby affair, and how we will recover from the setback.

The Sterling saga is a sight to behold. Really enjoying it. Almost a carbon copy of the sort of crap Liverpool enouraged from Lallana and Lovren last summer. What goes around comes around. Of course, the Scousers just feel sorry for themselves as the ramp up the abuse in the national media again...
