  1. 1. Lowe may have cut the costs, but he has also led to a massive cut in revenue with the shiit served up 2. We aint staying up. Everyone knows it. The premise for your post is as deluded as you accuse those, of wanting administration now as a means to solve all the clubs problems, of being...
  2. He owns shares in both. Isnt he saving jobs if he puts cash into SFC too ? Maybe he made the money from one of the business from one of the other companies in his group. But thanks, sambosa, for proving the need for this thread was spot-on. I knew someone would use it to have a swipe at Crouch.
  3. I agree completely; the purpose of this thread was to try to pre-empt anyone trying to. Its very easy for jonah to get all huffy at my insinuation, yet I wonder how he would have reacted if I hadnt posted it. Sadly, we'll never know, but suffice to say it has served its purpose.
  4. Sweet. So Lowe is in panic mode, bringing in PL-level wage costs to try to save the sinking ship, so not only are we sooo relegated, we have debts as bad as if we had kept Pearson and made a good fist of this season...
  5. Utter bollllocks. We would have had similar cost-cutting, but with maybe one striker more, and higher attendances due to better results because of a far better manager. You do talk shiiite sometimes, OB.
  6. Its amazing how very few people have got a grasp on that, I wouldnt single Gemmel out over that...
  7. In the Echo. Just thought I'd get this in before the likes of Jonah try to use it to justify why Crouch would be such a poor chairman compared to Lowe. How many people has SFC made redundant in recent times ??? At least Crouch's firm are doing it because they are suffering from the economic crisis, whereas SFC had to do because they are being run, well, shiiit....
  8. As usual, you have got completely the wrong end of the stick.. I am not feeling sorry for myself for the abuse I got back then, I am laughing at the likes of you who were utterly abusive having to choke on their words.
  9. You are absolutely right TDD. He is (and I am too) in a minority. But lookee here. If you had written on here a few months ago that any more than a few "sad cases" wanted administration, let alone one third of the vote, you would have been called bonkers.. I am just astounded that, like Lowe, so many are ego driven they would risk three relegations in 5 years
  10. Most of you who answered this post from me assumed I was referring to financial support or investment. Why ? I wasnt thinking that at all, especially as he is for me "old school" who didnt become a multi-millionarie during his playing days. I was thinking more that if he had made lost of noise, he maybe could have helped bring the curtain down on the Poortvillet era a few weeks' earlier..
  11. Can anyone explain why MLT has actually pretty much stood by as a passive spectator to the decline and failure of the club he professes to love so much ? Surely he recognises his own power to influence matters, but chooses not to..
  12. And this is the crux of the issue. If we dont take administration by mid-March, we are ensuring we are fighting a relegation battle next season as well, whilst there are 2 months of this one to go.
  13. Sort of says it all about you, nickh. all you can do is make a silly (and not very funny) joke...
  14. I am just remembering all the abuse I got on here for saying all of this 6 months ago............
  15. Yes, lets not discuss the most important issue at the club.... What shall we talk about then ? *taps fingers*
  16. What's the point of this thread ? A re-statement of the bleedin' obvious ?
  17. Then why not make the point without the heavy sarcasm ?
  18. Wow, someone else with an agenda.... You wouldnt believe it if Rudi said it to you direct.
  19. How ironic and annoying will that be if he keeps Pompey up ?????
  20. Skacel confirmed it in the interview (I think for a Czech newspaper) that lead to his latest exile from the first team.
  21. Ooooh, I dont know let me guess.... Being told to go to Ipswich or to rot in training without ever playing a game again for the length of his contract ???????
  22. Ta, mate. I was 5 days old...
  23. I called him the hottest young managerial prospect in England, and I stand by that, but calling him a legend is daft. But then again, I dont recall anyone having done so.
  24. Does anyone know the exact date of that 4-1 victory, or can point me to a site where I can find it ?
