I need perspective? You’ve just pulled a big dramatic number like 9 months out of thin air, rather than answer a simple question about what you desperately needed to do in the next five weeks and yes; a lot will change in that period. Namely another 17 million vaccinations being administered, which will cover roughly 75% of the total adult population. Flu seasons are short term and the come and go on their own in accordance with the cold weather. Covid doesn’t do that, it’s perennial. We aren’t talking about putting operations back by three weeks because February was a bit rough for flu, there’s a backlog which has been building on and off for 16 months now. That’s also worse than a few p*ssheads falling off lamp posts.

It’s not about deaths it’s about people in hospital. The more people go in with Covid, the fewer resources are available to treat other patients, that’s undeniable. So answer me this; what is it that you wanted to do in the next five weeks which is more important than a person having surgery or other treatment.
-
It basically is. There are tens of thousands of outpatients who’ve had treatments delayed repeatedly by the NHS being packed to capacity with Covid patients. We can’t afford to do that again, or get any where close to the 40,000 we had in January. It’s nothing to do with moral high ground, it’s about not sarcastically pretending to be surprised by something we were told right from day one. We’ve always known that these vaccines needed two jabs and that everyone who was able would need to get one for the country to be safe.
-
He has stabilised but will be far from out of the woods yet.
-
We won’t be safe until almost everyone has had two jabs. This has always been the case and it has never been claimed otherwise by anyone of any medical standing. Just over half the adult population has been fully vaccinated, this means we should be able to keep schools, shops, restaurants etc. Open, which we couldn’t during previous outbreaks. But hey, let’s all get upset because cancer patients are going to take priority over music festivals for four more weeks. It’s the government trying to control us and definitely not the fault of thick tw*t, anti-vaxxers who ignore all public health protocols and refuse to get vaccinated but still expect treatment when they turn up at A&E gasping for oxygen.

Just seen a photo which appears to show him conscious and lifting his head under his own strength, albeit in obvious discomfort. Can’t verify it’s authenticity as there are some strange people out there who are good with photoshop.

The 2006-08 or 2008-10 kit? http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Southampton/Southampton.htm The second one was one of my all time least favourites, although the build quality of the first was reported to be sh*te.

You are aware that if you have a holiday home in Southern France, you still only count as one household, Whitey? Forgive me for being facetious but I just can’t fathom why you think what you do.
-
‘I Vow to Thee My Country’ would get my vote. If Bertrand/Wolves was a penalty, so was that.
-
Watching those anthems just reminds me how sh*te and irrelevant ours is.
-
Okay, so option 1 or option 2?
-
Neither of your posts made any actual point regarding the topic in hand. Referring to my post from two weeks ago, would you choose option 1 or 2 to make policing fairer? Would you also accept that the Police discriminate on many other issues than just race, as myself and egg have pointed out?
-
Still none the wiser. What was stopping you from visiting your mum, either before of after 17th May?
-
Quite disgustingly sexist and age discriminatory too. Men are over ten times more likely to be stopped than women.
-
In that case I'm not sure I understand the reasoning behind this statement
-
Is that not within the rules anyway?
-
In other words, both could be paid off with one year of ST sales.

TBH I’d give them the same leniency I would for Robinson when he was a similar age. Most teenagers are all hormonal, moody, opinionated, idealistic helmets, even the ones who aren’t are relatively immature versions of their adult selves. When I left home/college it took a series of hard knocks to make me realise ‘oh, life’s like that is it.’ ’Woke’ is just a subculture which happens to be trendy right now. A bit like 1970’s punk I guess, as soon as it becomes too mainstream people will lose interest.
-
I’d quite happily see the back of all three of them and try and get one decent and one backup to replace the lot. Holding on to Gunn doesn’t solve any of our issues, as far as I’m concerned this is one substandard player off the books and nothing more. AM and FF aren’t really ‘getting on’ in goalkeeper years either. Both easily have another 5 years in them, even if it is at a poor standard. I can’t envisage any particular drop in performance over the next couple of years.

I think we’ve all made whichever point we needed to make. -

No. It's derogatory, in the same vein as calling someone a Limey, Sweaty, Yank, Kraut, Frog or Syrup drinking moose f**ker, but it is not racist. -

I’ve deleted more posts from you on this thread than every other poster combined. It’s quite hard to pass yourself off as the voice of tolerance and acceptance when you’re being this belligerent to so many people. Yes I have deleted Duck’s post because this kind of childish bickering is becoming tiresome. Not because of the PM you sent claiming you were going to report the racist abuse you have suffered to the Police. -

Football or crowds of 50,000 people? I reckon if I spoke to everyone at the Newark Antiques Fair I’d here a few unsavoury opinions on ethnic minorities. -
I work in the travel industry, so I have more than a clue as to the difficulties being faced by some outfits. I don’t think I need to reiterate my opinion on the matter,

That manifesto asks for very little other than local government support for their charity work. There are no demands for change to the system, bringing down the Police or other such ideology. If BLM was a charity, asking for nothing more than remembrance for young black lives lost in street violence and racist attacks and funding - either government or through donation - for local volunteers and support groups, everyone would be behind it.
