Aren't you the guy who used to post pictures of boobs about 5 years ago?

Or if we got the backing of a major PC manufacturer. Then we could have, "The Dell St Mary's Stadium"
-
With a matching yellow away shirt of course.

Good to see we've finally cleared this up.

2 seasons in a row I've planned to go to this fixture but been stuck at work and missed the game. In contrast, I just made it to the Brenford game a couple of weeks ago. C'est la vie! I can still bask in the glory of 3 points.

Don't think I've ever been so happy to see Charlie Austin score.

If it stays like this, we go into 6th. 5 points off the top, 2 off 2nd and with games in hand over Weds and Udders. But then there is no point in telling you this. If Kelly Brook walked into your living room butt naked, you'd complain that she forgot to put the kettle on.

First League goal since we beat the Posh a month and 7 days ago.

A good ambassador for British sport, certainly, but a knighthood? He has been England captain, done lots of charity work etc. But what has he done that's truly great? Winning the champions league in 1999 is about the biggest achievement I can think of. Other than that he has lead England through 2 very mediocre world cups and been part of a very mediocre Real Madrid team.

Chamberlain to Arsenal or Liverpool £10m
Lighthouse replied to forever a red and white's topic in The Saints
I'd take £10m to be honnest. That amount reinvested in the squad should get us to the Premier League quite comfortably, regardless of the situation with the Liebherr family. That amount of cash would buy Le Fondre, Fryatt, Antonio and Danns 3 times over. -
Bradley Wright-Phillips at Sports Personality of the Year
Lighthouse replied to jawillwill's topic in The Saints
I'm sure there are a few odd players from around the world, doesn't mean it's universally popular. I've just had a flick through the BDO World Champions. There are a couple of Dutch blokes, a Kiwi and a moose f**ker. That's pretty much it. It's a bit like countries such as Jamaica competing in the winter Olympics. Yeah it's nice that they turn up, but we all know the medals are going to be divided up between the Alpines and North Americans. Anyway, bored with debating the legitimacies of darts now. If you like it, fill yer boots. -

The flip side is that Haye has to train incredibly hard and it's all leading up to 1 fight which could be over in 8 seconds. The pressure boxers must be under in that scenario must be huge. You have to be as strong mentally as physically. Anyway, apples and oranges. The award hasn't changed my estimations of any of them. Ennis is still fit as, Taylor is still a lardy bloke from Staffordshire. -

We're splitting hairs over Ennis, but never mind. Taylor I am sure is a fantastically tallented darts player. But to say he is the second most prominent sports person in Britain is a bit of an embarassment for me. People like Haye, W******d and pretty much everyone else nominated, are competing against competitors from around the world. -
It's Agustin Delgado's birthday on Thursday. Better not forget that one.

I know, but according to Wiki Ennis is only the European Champion at the heptathalon. And I don't care how many world titles Phil "The Burger" Taylor has won, darts is a sh*t sport. Infacts it's barely a sport at all and hardly anyone plays it outside of the UK. -

Just can't take SPOTY seriously anymore, not after Giggs won it last year. Now we have a darts player beating a pentathalon world champion. Hmmmm... -
Walsall Weather Watch / Build-up Thread - Game called off!
Lighthouse replied to Master Bates's topic in The Saints
A quick butchers at the top of the Championship makes for encouraging reading. QPR - 41 Leeds - 38 ---------------------------- Cardiff - 37 Swansea -37 Norwich -36 Coventry -34 ---------------------------- Just goes to show, not only is this League sh*t, so is 3/4 of the Championship. If we could only get our act together, we could be right up there and looking at promotion to the Premier League in 18 months. A big IF, but doable given patience. -

Ssssshhhhhhhh!!!!!! Some of us are trying to pretend all the other fixtures went ahead and that all 22 teams won. -

Exeter vs Wednesday is the only fixture going ahead at the moment. So much for falling behind everyone else. -

Based on the logic that we just lost to Brentford, which is therefore typical of every game after a 2 week break? -
Walsall Weather Watch / Build-up Thread - Game called off!
Lighthouse replied to Master Bates's topic in The Saints
We aren't nescessarily going to be cut adrift here, stop putting such a negative spin on it. Firstly Saints are hardly exclusive when it comes to game called off. I seem to remember when the Hartlepool game was postponed, Swindon vs Wednesday was the only League 1 fixture to go ahead all weekend. Walsall is hardly out in the wilderness. If their pitch is unplayable, there will be a lot more games called off in the next 25 hours. Secondly, people seem to be under the assumption that all 22 other teams will win their games if they go ahead. They wont and we could find ourselves maybe 2 points behind one of our rivals with 2 games in hands. Really not a bad scenario to be in. Plus these are all games which will be replayed AFTER the January transfer window. There may not be much spending, but even if we only get 2 or 3 players, we will be a lot stronger for it. Plus we have Barnard, Chaplow and Richardson all coming back from injuries, who will be all the fitter for another week's training. Chill people! -
Stupid bint. She can't even spell "recorded".
