    Man Flu

Anyone else suffering from Man Flu at the moment? Spoke to about half a dosen people today who have all got it at the moment. Looks like there may only be women left in Britain come January.
  3. I'd have them in a slightly different order 1) Liz 2) Paloma 3) Stella 4) Laura 5) Sandeesh 6) Joanna 7) Melissa - Rug muncher 8 ) Joy - I'm guessing you mean 'moose'?
  4. There is a way to get rid of horses without burying or cremating them, but it takes a lot of flushes. I'd just leave it be TBH and let the vultures take care of it.
  5. Why do so many people think certain players will be better against much stronger opposition? It's the same with Schneiderlin. FWIW I hope this isn't true. Personally I think Guly is crap and have seen very little from him to warrant a permanent deal. We can do much better.
  6. Beattie I'm sure would be an asset in League 1. Especially as he is very much in the Lambert frame and gives us another physical option so we can drop Rickie. I see no point in keeping Guly if he isn't good enough. If you think he is good, that's you're opinion, but if you don't there's no point keeping him, even to sit on the bench. Guly has 3 goals to his name this season. A decent striker would have about 10. Maybe not a dream, but him and one of the others would definitely stand us in good stead up front.
  7. Hence... In a dream world for me it would be 2 from Le Fondre, Fryatt, Beattie or Waigo. I know, "they're the past... move on... etc. etc." I'm just saying.
  8. We need 2 strikers. Guly and DC can both leave IMO. Both useless for different reasons.
  9. and only 2 wins...
  10. We've already got Doble.
  11. Don't forget most benefit fraudsters are tax avoiders too. If you're claiming benefits it's a fair bet you're not paying any income tax.
  12. In terms of pounds and pennys hit has a bigger impact yes. I don't condone either, but tax evasion isn't really costing anything. Tax evaders just aren't giving as much as they should do.
  13. Neither probably. You just remember the previous times something similar has happened and it seems like it's happening a lot. Personally I'm neither shocked nor horrified. True it's a shocking and horrible thing to do, but there are guaranteed to be a few sick weirdos in the 60 odd million people in Britain.
  14. Why the heck would Fonte have assumed Saints were going to get promoted last January? We were about 12 points off even getting into the play-offs. I'm not saying Pardew wont come in for him (although this is just the Sun making an easy transfer rumour out of Pardew transfer history) but it wont be because we didn't go up last year.
  15. Having read the title and then f**k all of what you've written after, I'd say benefit fraud is worse. Tax evaders aren't contributing, but then they aren't really costing anything either. If they were dead, it would make feck all difference to the ecconomy.
  16. Anyone else working on boxing day on normal pay and not actually that bothered about it?
  17. Don't suppose you've got a video of that?
  18. What about straight men with big tits? I know they're a bit saggy and all, but do they not do it for some? Unfortunately I'm a bit skinny, so I can't really say. Any lardy gits care to enlighten me?
  19. The main problem with socialism is that there is no motivation to suceed. Why work hard at school, university etc to get a good education and become a doctor, scientist, lawyer etc. when the state is just going to take all your hard earned cash and give it to other people. You might as well just sit at home mooching off benefits. I can't think of a single socialist state which has been a success by any stretch of the imagination.
  20. I'm pretty sure they weren't planning to blow the US off the place of the planet with a couple of 767s. I'm sure they'd like to, but anyway this is going off on a tangent. I'll go easy on the metaphors from now on.
  21. In principle, yes they are. Of course this is nothing like 911 in terms of of scale, global impact, loss of life etc. but it's the same thing going on. People resorting to violence to draw attention to their political opinions.
  22. 911 drew attention to Islamic fundamentalism. Didn't mean people supported it though.
  23. In my ideal world, we'd get in a left footed version of Antonio and a mentally stronger version of Puncheon. That way we have a pacy option and a technical player for both wings. Agree that Martin could do the job and I don't get why he's not in the team instead of Jaidi, who is getting very old and is far too slow. Him and Fonte would be my first choice pairing. A new CB isn't a top priority, but without Fonte we look pretty dodgy. Guly can go back to Italy. I'm sorry he's just crap.
  24. So now we are outraged at hypothetical changes to the system which the ConDems haven't even invented yet?
  25. Specific players - Le Fondre, Beattie (thought I'd get in early with than one), Chaplow on a perm. General requirements A winger with pace and height. Antonio would be perfect, but we wont get him. A winger with skill and technique. A big strong, but much younger, centre half to replace Jaidi HCNDAJFU - Pulis, Forecast, Wotton, Holmes, Connolly, Guly and Jaidi. Getting rid of them may prove difficult in some cases.
