What kind of stuff have you been drinking? Obviously it varies depending on a person's mass, what they've eaten, metabolism etc. but from most sources I've ever seen/heard 2 pints is roughly on the limit. I obviously don't think people should drive around over double the limit. Why would you pretend that I think that? Explain.

Having enough alcohol in your system to cause any kind of judgement. I've driven after one pint plenty of times because I know it has no effect on my judgement. I'm not saying the limit needs to be changed, I'm saying people who break the limit should face tougher sentences. I believe the Police allow a small margin of error below which they don't prosecute, I don't have a problem with that. The fact is that most people could probably drink two pints and be around the maximum limit. I don't see why anyone would ever need to drink more than this and then get behind the wheel. Anyone doing so should face severe penalties IMO and they would only have themselves to blame.

Actually no, I pretty much follow the speed limits and I've never been pulled over for speeding. I just don't see people doing 80 on a motorway as a problem. I do have a problem with people who chose to drive whilst drunk and are apparently not bothered if they kill me or anyone in my family.

I would say the number of people killed by actual speed is far lower than the statistics would suggest. It's more often a case of going too fast AND being to close to the car in front, going to fast AND another car pulls out without looking in his mirrors, going too fast on icy roads or going too fast in bad weather. Sure the is a reckless amount of speed, like doing 50mph driving past a school but you have to be a significant margin above the speed limit to be dangerous IMO.

Nobody has ever been killed because a vehicle was doing 71mph. 70mph isn't the edge of danger it's just some arbitrary line in the sand which someone decided was the safe speed for a motorway. 60mph would be safer, so why not have that as the limit? Reckless driving in general is what I'm again. I would feel much safer in a car with a sober driver doing 100 on a motorway than I would with a driver who had 4 pints.

Perhaps but I don't think there should be much distinction, if any, between intent and just not giving a sh*t if you do kill someone. If you drink drive you are basically saying you don't care if you kill someone. To me that is as bad as saying you want to kill someone. To me, someone who doesn't care if they run over and kill a couple of children is no better than someone who deliberately goes out to try and kill.

I used to play badminton a lot before I eventually got bored last year and gave it up. There were a lot more male players at the club I played for than female. Certainly there were only 2 or 3 women of any decent standard. Not sure where the whole 'weak' thing comes from as a decent player can't half hit a shuttle. Sure it's lighter than a tennis ball but you hit it just as hard. The only sports I can think of where women outnumber men are netball, hockey and equestrian. I would say there is probably an equal interest in athletics but almost every other sport is male dominated.

I don't think we need to change the limits, just have harsher punishments for people who break them. They are the problem, people with a blazé attitude and just don't seem that bothered. I think the punishment for drink driving should be no different to that for attempted murder. The punishment for actually killing someone should be no different to murder. At the moment the maximum sentence for drink driving is 6 months, which is hardly ever handed out due to overcrowded prisons. Can you imagine someone being given a £5,000 fine for attempted murder? And has never put in a performance close to that of a Premier League keeper. Age means nothing if he isn't showing any signs of notable talent. Mayuka likewise has done bugger all other than win a penalty 2 years ago. He failed to impress out on loan either. Two players we would be well rid of IMO. I can see Osvaldo just drifting around on loan until his contract runs out. I really can't see anyone actually paying for him, not for more than a couple of million anyway.

He was a back up player who only cost £6m. Other than being Belgian these two players have nothing in common.

According to wiki we gave him a 5 year deal, which just seems plain odd. No idea why anyone would give such a long contract to an unknown foreign player. It reminds me of Tommy Fourpast a bit, just doesn't make sense.

I don't think we are likely to spend £30m on a single player and I don't think anyone that good would be willing to come to Saints. Toby wont be any kind of factor.

Apart from JWP, Chambers and Shaw you mean? Reed is on the bench because there are no better players in our squad for that position. Clearly the coaches feel he is one of the brightest prospects in our youth set up, hence he is the one on the bench for first team games.

It will probably end up being Reed if there is nobody else fit.

Clearly the coaches who have been training him for a large part of his development don't feel Reed is ready yet for big League games. I'm not sure why the clamour for a player who nobody has seen play a proper first team competitive match before. Remember the summer of 2008 when some people were championing our new young team and the benefits of our academy. I would have thought Jamie White and Lloyd James would have put most people off throwing kids in at the deep end.

I don't see the appeal in Guidetti TBH, he has only ever done it in Holland and Scotland but had little impact at Burnley and Stoke. One thought that did occur to me was Januzaj on loan. He doesn't seem to be getting any game time with Rooney, Falcao, RVP, Mata, Di Maria and Fellaini all ahead of him.

A month to go until the sales are on, no doubt the club have already been doing their homework and a few cracks in our squad are starting to appear. If a Championship quality player like Mayuka is getting on the pitch, I would suggest we definitely need more fire power up front. Let's open up the floor to wild rumours of houses being bought in Winchester, dodgy photos taken through a hotel window, ear lobes, friends who do player medicals at Solent Uni and of course Carsten Janker. I would suggest we need an AM, ST and in a perfect world permanent deals for Ryan and Toby. Edit: Youtube compilation videos and Football Manager stats are mandatory for every suggestion.

I don't really get why Koeman sent him on and wasted our last sub. I know he couldn't have predicted Toby's injury but that is always the risk when you use all three subs. I would only use the third sub if you needed to make a definite, game changing decision or maybe if the game is already beyond doubt. To waste it on a nothing sub like Mayuka just seems odd when we were on course for a pretty decent point.

Pom... ah f**k. A nice easy home game for me please. Plenty of big guns over the X-mas period as it is. No doubt whoever we draw will be 'boring' to people who were expecting the 1970 Brazil team.

On the bright side, we've now gone to Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs, lost by one goal and deserved a point in all of them. Perhaps at home those games would have swung the other way, who knows. A bitter pill to swallow but saw it coming after Toby went off. Just hope the queue outside the treatment room isn't too long after this.
