  1. Thanks for that Tim. BTW Who's the handsome fellah on Ron's right?
  2. Happy days!
  3. Very good OP by FF and I feel sure Influenced.com is bang on.
  4. Now there's an idea! What about on "All Saints Day" getting the whole stadium to chant "Give it to Ron on his head", film it and send the dvd to him as a surprise? It could work.
  5. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/ReservesNews/0,,10280~1838294,00.html Unusually informative report. Great to read that we have so many good prospects coming up through the Academy.
  6. What an incredibly gauche and inappropriate comment.
  7. Thanks for the update TT.
  8. Any further news Tim?
  9. Thinking of you both. Get well soon Chris.
  10. Quite possibly not though, given that it's been wiped!
  11. Hopefully referring to Greenridge's comment, but you never know with some of the twits on this forum.
  12. I took my son to his first Saints match last year - Claus’s testimonial. We both ended up legless in the Chapel Inn after he decided that every pint be accompanied by a shot. Failing to blag entry to the “do” back at Claus’s hotel, we staggered up Kingsway intending to gatecrash it (Christ! the things we do when under the influence). We never made it. The fruit of my loins tried vaulting a roadside railing, tripped, swung base over apex and knocked out two teeth on the bottom of said railing. I got it in the neck from his mother, my mother and his girlfriend! Did I mention he was 22?
  13. I would suggest that his birth date is checked - wikipedia isn't always accurate.
  14. C'est magnifique, mais ce n'est pas le francais.
  15. I'm out of area, but it would interesting to read the whole article. Does it talk about the other four members of "the advisory committee"? Could it be they're looking to make SFC more than a football club? Additional income streams, diversification and all that? Long term of course. Makes sense.
  16. Rumour, spin and misinformation can be very harmful to a company; it's unsettling and potentially commercially damaging. If I were AO I would be explaining this to all staff in no uncertain terms. It's a new era and a new chance to succeed for everyone, as long as they act professionally and toe the line. Those that don't will be out. I am not AO.
  17. Childhood heroes:- pretty much any of them from 66/67 when I first started supporting Saints. But, as the team changed there were new heroes to acclaim:- Channon, Keegan . . . . to MLT and Niemmi. And then all of a sudden there were no more heroes. Without them the team becomes less emotionally compelling and whilst supporting Saints for over 40 years has bound me to the club and the city, supporting the team over the last few years has been a bit of a chore. I hope the heroes return soon.
  18. Hunty's link above will take you to one of the most comprehensive, useful, well-written, understandable, navigable, business sites available. You couldn't do much better. This link takes you to its business start-up pages. http://www.startupanswers.co.uk/ Good luck.
  19. He'd better find out quick or he'll ruin our chances for the 2012 Champions League campaign. Pardew out!
  20. I expect the Club will be doing something for the 125th next year. Maybe that would be a good time to invite Ron and Chris?
  21. It is also a Gilbert & Sullivan operetta. Much preferred Ooh-wakka-doo-wakka-day though.
