  1. Pretty positive half. Slightly frustrated how little we crossed the ball until late. Isak is real threat and took his 2nd nicely. still fuming about the penalty award.
  2. So looking forward to not having to deal with var. a really tough task made impossible by a system desperate to award them a goal
  3. Hate var. don’t see enough there for penalty.
  4. Apparently 1 win in 35 prem matches according to 5 live.
  5. My point is Armstrong getting far more opportunities to be awful. i do agree today’s options are particularly bad. I even think Ballard is unfortunate to not even make the bench considering the attacking injuries.
  6. So was Armstrong, who has been repeatedly poor.
  7. I’d much rather try archer once with TP. (Not that I overly rate him)
  8. How on earth does Armstrong keep getting starts
  9. If that’s true I’ll be really annoyed Was looking forward to him being back with us plus I doubt using loan recall merely to milk extra money out of Wednesday will have endeared the player to us.
  10. Maybe onachu and archer will finally both be on the pitch at the same time
  11. Once again some positives to take from that late rally. Lovely to see TP score from a well delivered corner and help set up the 1st with a knock down from a free kick. If we can just get better at delivering those balls from open play. But we're not going to get anything only playing for part of the game. That 1st half was dreadful. Does feel that Les should play regardless of how fit he is, as we look different with him in the middle. Really hoping we can get charles into that midfield too once he's back. Downes looks a shadow of the player he looked like in Russ' set up. You can completely understand why West Ham were happy to sell him. Hopefully that's the last we see of A.Armstrong for a while.
  12. how did they clear that
  13. Completely baffles me how little we cross the ball from out wide when we have onachu on the pitch.
  14. Is VAR suddenly becoming our friend?
  15. Umm Ramsdale what a shocker
  16. The immediate threat of onachu Knowing our luck it'll be offside
  17. I don't really get why we've gone back to the try and pass the across an back anytime we get around their area. That KWP shot at the end is only time since i've been watching that anyone took any responsibility to try and do anything.
  18. Saints looked so lackadaisical in the build up to that goal In particular why was kwp standing a mile off him.
  19. Are saints ever going to learn about suicidally playing around with the ball on the edge of their own box
  20. I’m assuming (changes) are a conditioning thing. Though does annoy me slightly seeing Armstrong getting a million opportunities.
  21. Definite some shoots of optimism, though th collapse was depressing predictable You do wonder about the fitness levels. Hoping Charles returning can add something to the midfield depth.
  22. Smallbone who has been injured most of the season/ seems less of fit for new manager seems an obvious candidate for a loan move.
  23. As someone who has watched quite a bit of Charles and rate him. I was happy for him to go out on loan and play (as he wasn't a great fit with Martin's approach, was out of favour and his confidence was clearly affected. Situation has changed now though we"ve got a new manager who seems a better fit and loan has revitalised him. On your 2nd point, I think he should have a bigger role. So I think it's much better if he's plays for us in terms of preparation for next season.
  24. Would anger me if that's the rationale for recalling him rather than playing him ourselves.
  25. Fab news. Hope he gets a run in the team. Wonder if we plan to let someone else leave. Smallbone maybe.
