Renationalising a parcel delivery company makes little sense & would be costly but communication union would be happy i guess. Equally renationalising energy firms doesn't actually make much sense. They're not producers and would be extremely expensive. Starmer's idea of a green energy production company is much more promising imo. Water, very costly to buy back, plus expensive maintenance that's an unsexy budget drain, which was the same problem pre privatisation when there was underinvestment. Railways are the easiest given the franchise system. Given how bad BR was, i'm not convinced it would be better than my local well run franchise but there certainly are bad franchises you can start with.
