  1. 84 minutes too late to take off manning
  2. Manning just so hopeless
  3. Nice. Now get Manning off.
  4. Very hard to guess Birmingham's tactical approach. Attack their left back he's utterly awful defensively
  5. Lovely flick by Adams there
  6. Manning just not even bothered there
  7. Good news they injured Manning.
  8. you don’t think a direct attack by troops of a nato member is escalatory warmongering ? and yes the decision to attack Ukraine by Russia was.
  9. Glad to see some pushback to macron's escalatory warmongering
  10. This isn't knock out football, there's a 3rd reslt where both teams drop points.
  11. Happiest with a draw. Leeds win the worst result
  12. Would Barak even be allowed to be VP, having been president for 2 terms
  13. Biden's going all Sixth Sense 'I see dead peope' https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/feb/08/joe-biden-kohl-mitterrand-gaffe-age-questions
  14. Been coming for a while, Zelensky’s ego couldn’t cope with his popularity.
  15. Was it not Blair in 1998 who gave it juristication in UK
  16. Situation is depressing. The clear wheeze of let's claim i'm a christian(yet then go back to being a good muslim) to ensure UK can't kick out a sex offender under ECHR rules The Turkey isn't a safe country according to ECHR
  17. The one appearance I saw it seemed he had no understanding of defensive positioning
  18. Lots of costly pledges, no difficult how we are going to pay for them, which is exactly why they flopped at the polls Renationalising everything. It wasn't a goal to renationalise 1 thing and show how successfully it could be run afterwards. Renationalising a parcel delivery company makes little sense & would be costly but communication union would be happy i guess. Equally renationalising energy firms doesn't actually make much sense. They're not producers and would be extremely expensive. Starmer's idea of a green energy production company is much more promising imo. Water, very costly to buy back, plus expensive maintenance that's an unsexy budget drain, which was the same problem pre privatisation when there was underinvestment. Railways are the easiest given the franchise system. Given how bad BR was, i'm not convinced it would be better than my local well run franchise but there certainly are bad franchises you can start with. Freezing pension age- cost billions Care service- govts of every stripe have been trying to get to grips with, because it costs so much Scrapping universal credit- loads of disruption, they didn't even have a replacement mapped out Free bus travel - more money Loads of council homes, every govt promises house buildings falls vastly short, & i'm guessing costly
  19. Still the pile of twaddle it was at the time
  20. I'm curious about the actual production vs the financial outlay equation looks.
  21. We were 2 nil up in 3 of our last 4 home league games by 64 minute, where we ended up winning by 4 plus. You could have given players meaningful time in any of those.
  22. We're playing players we splunked massive transfer fees on, that's a huge difference in motivation to play them. If anything doyle could improve his chances of playing for Saints by moving to city for a year and not playing
  23. 2 minutes for Dibling as the grand total for academy players in the last 3 months of championship football certainly hasn't shown us that
  24. I think assuming trump is going to follow established norms is risky. I wouldn’t be at all shocked if trump tried to find a way to remove the term limit that was only added to constitution in 50’s if he took into his head that he wanted another go at being elected.(he probably wouldn’t succeed) Yes a lot of what he says is stupid bluster. His attempts to overturn the previous result weren’t just bluster though, hence why I said I understand people’s fears.
