Not as down on Larin as others. Never getting a superstar in January, going to be players who aren’t getting much football. seems the right physical profile and previously has history of scoring 7/8 goals a season, sounds a bit adamsesque. Hopefully he can chip in with some goals from the bench.

'all being well', words to fill us with confidence What about the replacement for Archer/Downs?
-
Can't see us selling him plus 10M seems very light for a January premium for 3rd top scorer in the league
-
Do they need a left back
-
Let's just hope Saints have a deal already sorted to replace archer.
-
I saw that run of fixtures and thought of the exciting possibilities. so obviously we’ll probably fall flat on our face and lose/draw most.
-
Thb has been excellent last few months, even when rest of defence was floundering. No reason imo to want him gone.
-
Amazing what a different team we look a much better balance in the formation suddenly having fit fullbacks that can defend a keeper that can make saves a gelling cb pairing an actual target man what are the odds though that we’ll be able to keep them available, as outside of cm and rb we don’t have much depth
-
Another of those half’s were you come away thinking that was good but may live to regret not having a bigger lead
-
Did the club or the player not want to be involved. Very poor from armstrong if the latter, given how recently hew was wearing the captains armband.
-
Find this whole 8 figures stuff annoying. Either give some sort of figure or don’t bother at all.
-
Matsuki selection is bizarre. If there's one player I would have said was unsuited to a physical derby it would be him. Hope to be proven wrong though.
-
THB needs a new agent if those numbers are to be believed
-
Yep i'd like an extra presence in midfield in what likely to be a physical game, ideally we'd have more of 4-3-3, than a 4-2-3-1.
-
An odd selection of players. Not sure why probably our best 2 CB's must leave but the other two get to stay. Or why armstrong must leave but Archer can stay.
-
Still hoping the club can get a young physical striker on loan. Today showed the difference a target man makes in allowing the team to play direct at times.
-
An upgrade on bazanu but I’d still prefer to see mccarthy as he’s seems more trustworthy under crosses. I do wonder why we don’t have a player helping on corners to keep the attacker on the line away from the keeper.

Managed to survive a few moments of self sabotage at the end. Peretz with a nice save but he also looks a bit lost on corners. loved seeing, a 4 at the back, Welington starting, Stewart giving us an aerial presence and Charles return. Stephen’s played very well too which will no doubt annoy his detractors. -

Nice to see us playing so well. 4 at the back too! Welington looks such an upgrade on manning and great to have a target man(until he gets injured again) only downside is the failure to get the important 2nd goal -
Can we sign the Senegalese reserve goalie. The determination he showed in protecting that towel is worthy of a contract.

As a fan i came away from watching every Still game with no clue what the plan was, so i can understand why THB might have said that. I may not completely agree with Tonda's set up but you can see what they are trying to do more often than not. -
frank isn't going to drop down to this level even if he becomes available

An experienced manager, positive football style with strong ties to the club and who fans would get behind, seems ideal for a short term appointment. Think O’Neill at Celtic. the summer now seems the much better time to be trying to get the right long term pick made.
