  1. Dyche might at least be able to show Ralph that defending crosses is possible. “It is the effect that you are not always having pressure on the ball and if they have free crosses it is not easy to defend balls in the box,”
  2. A buoyant Leeds after an opening win with Saints coming off a shambolic defeat isn't ideal.
  3. Ralph will convince us that he's sure that Salisu is now a striker like Stu Armstrong.
  4. Here was me thinking Adam Armstrong went off at HT.
  5. I was hoping for a gritty draw or a narrow loss. What We got was an embarassing 4-1 thrashing & the formation we've spent all pre-season solely focusing on dissolving into a mess. Clueless management. Was concerned when manager was talking pre-season about how a 30yrd stu armstrong was now a striker and how Bednarek was a leader. Thought CB selection was bizarre and playing no natural striker for 45 minutes odder. Feel sorry for Adam Armstrong. Misused and therefore looked lost, whilst the striker good at holding the ball up languished on the bench for the whole game. Hopefully we revert to a 4 for leeds. Small positives. Bazanu at least looked not horrible. Lavia looked bright. JWP still can score.
  6. To be honest i thought he played our 5th & 6th best ones and then brought on the 4th best one.
  7. It's got the point where i'm just perplexed by his thinking.
  8. Guess he's being sold. Wonder if we are just waiting till after we lose the Leeds game.
  9. Don't worry Adams is going to get a load of goals from the bench.
  10. Is that not a reckless challenge?
  11. That's Comically bad defending
  12. I almost Joked that we'd bring Stu on up fronnt because of Ralph's whole he's a striker now. Comedy gold. Don't get how stephens polevaults around in term of favour. Seemed least favoured but now he's ahead of Katchup and Lyanco.
  13. See Smallbone is now in the team for Stoke & they are winning currently.
  14. Don't be crazy.Ralph doesn't know you can make subs at HT
  15. Nobody but idiots called ralph really had any expectation that Armstrong is a hold up the ball type player. Square ppeg round hole.
  16. Can't be a good manager if he thinks Bednarek is an undroppable superstar.
  17. Bednarek had lots of practice of falling over in the friendlies so ralph must think sitting on command is an asset.
  18. It’s never 3-5-2. I doubt it is even think it’s 5-3-2. Looks like 5-4-1 with a striker who is completely unsuited to holding theball up. It’s depressing seeing the utterly garbage bednarek waltz into the team again despite us having 6 cb’s to choose from.
  19. That’s a depressing lineup. The useless bednarek in the team and I struggle to see how we’ll hold the ball up. Also is lyanco injured or just behind Stephens in the pecking order?
  20. Loan rb to cover livramento sounds good. Wonder why Marseille would accommodate though if he’s much good. So assume he’s very out of favour.
  21. Think it'll be Bazanu, KWP, Kotchap, Bedanrek, Salisu, Djenepo, Lavia, JWP, Aribo, Armstrong, Armstrong Personally i'd prefer to see any cb over bednarek but preferably Lyanco & would prefer Adams up front
  22. See the Guardian's combined prediction has us 17th. Premier League 2022-23 preview No 17: Southampton | Football | The Guardian
  23. Cork?
