  1. Another year of wasted money still to come.
  2. Suppose there’s certain symmetry, with the likely inevitable pitiful loss to Leicester to bookend his time here.
  3. That would require him to be non delusional. He seriously is over the moon at his pathetic set up today.
  4. Yeah spouting that nonsense and then setting a team out to lose like that.
  5. Glad Forest won. Hopefully they can beat Huddersfield in the play off final, at least that would be a bit of a change.
  6. The main thing today was a manager not interested. The players were doing what they were told.
  7. He's still a Wolves player isn't he. Just out on loan. Expect he'll be back with Wolves next season but not to take penalties.
  8. Is that the sort of thing i'd like to see him try every week, no but when behind with time running low i'm less critical of a player trying something positive. Also it was a foul. If he hadn't of been fouled he would likely have got the ball.
  9. Honestly i've been wavering but that was pathetic. Setting your team out with a formation and tactics that showed zero ambition. Happy to limit the size of the loss to a massively weakened liverpool
  10. Don't know how anyone could look at how Ralph made the team approach the game and go its the squad's fault, not the useless coward in the technical area
  11. Don't blame the players for that. Down to completely inept manager who set up aiming to lose the game to liverpool reserves. Within the pathetic formation and tactics the manager employed, Lyanco was the one who really impressed.
  12. What is the point of that garbage passing along the back.
  13. Ralph super plan was that Liverpool wouldn't be able to shoot on target it seems.
  14. Comical that Elyounessi assists their goal under no pressure from anyone. Pathetic how we've approached this game. Desperate to lose. Great 2 subs and we are still playing a pathetic 5 at the back.
  15. But by massively overloading in terms of CB most of the time it allows their other players massive overloads all over the pitch. Romeu would make little difference in a like for like swap. He'd be chasing shadows like the current mids I'd keep Tella on, he's got the pace on the break. Played ok when we've actually had the ball (lovely cross field pass to KWP, got in position when Broja was too ball greedy to pass the ball until he'd run down a cul de sac etc. I'd get Romeu on and move to a flat back 4.
  16. Personally i blame the formation, too many CB's not enough Mids. They are constantly being asked to mark two players by shuttling to them whenever they get the ball.
  17. Absolutely hate our formation. Just set up to allow them constant overloads and hope they can't finish. Get Romeu on and go 4-5-1 pls.
  18. Broja annoyingly ball greedy again.
  19. Maybe it was me thinking Ralph was sensible to admit playing 5at the back versus Liverpool was stupid. Yeah thought small was poor in Cov game. If that’s his ability level it’s an indictment of our scouting. Yeah leg fracture apparently
  20. Going to go with.... that’s a weird lineup.(and hope to have to eat humble pie after the game) I wanted to see tella play but not as a LB. pretty damning indictment of small signing. Not a fan of playing 5 at the back against Liverpool, thought Ralph admitted it was wrong last time we tried it against them.
  21. Yeah I think he could a very good signing (dependent on the fee). Add some leadership at the back.
  22. More importantly what's his long throw in technique like?
  23. Personally i think it's crazy to play 5 at the back vs liverpool as shown last time we played them and tried that. That's playing into their hands, to me 4-5-1 makes much more sense as you congest the area of the pitch they want to play in. If you don't want your fullbacks to bomb forward, tell them not to bomb forward as much.
  24. I'd look to release Long & Forster. Possibly Stephens if his contract hasn't been extended. With Walcott either try and agree a payout or find a club to loan him to. In terms of sales (sell bednarek & elyounessi & hopefully redmond). Probably loan out djenepo as i think we'd struggle to sell him. I'd prefer not to sell JWP, unless he's got a release clause. I'd definitely keep Tella and probably keep Adam Armstrong & Diallo unless you got a good bid for them. 1) We need a keeper (i'd be looking for some in 24-26 age range, who's got some experience but still room to grow). If we're talking Irish keepers i'd the 25 yr old prefer Peacock-Farrell over the 20 year old Bazanu. Played a few games in the prem as well as having experience in both Championship and League 1) 2) We are going to need a CB, once again look to bring in someone in late twenties with some leadership ability. Would someone like Lascelles be surplus to requirements at Newcastle? 3) A youngish CDM, either on loan or with a view to replacing Romeu 4) A winger with real pace. 5) Obviously we need a striker who can score some goals, no clue who to target. 6) Some sort of fullback loan to cover the loss of Livramento.
  25. Hope article is nonsense. We’ve spent 2 years getting rid of Gunn and waiting to get rid of forster. To then extend forster and buy a replacement Gunn would be idiotic.
