Fraser Forster - Official: Signs for Spurs
Baird of the land replied to stevy777_x's topic in The Saints
let him go. -
Yeah was nice to see Livramento back to levels of the early season. Also agree might be wise to give Valery a go and see if he can really make a go of CB.
-
Yes it was more of a pen by prem standards. He makes the most of it sure but you'll see that given as a penalty pretty much always whereas you'd never see the long contact being given.
-
I'd definitely say it's confidence. Early in the season he was striking much cleaner.
-
Don't agree at all. The keeper gets anything that's not in the very corner.
-
Given how poorly Broja is playing i'd be happy enough to see him starting. Only way he's going to get his confidence back is to get a goal.
-
Agree it was a poor scuff but it was a tough chance even f he'd hit it right. Adams was a far easier chance that he fluffed.
-
It was a penalty regardless of whether Dean was ref. Needless stupidity by Salisu
-
Really frustrating. Played some very nice stuff. Gave them two soft goals, plus our inability to take any of our chances.
-
Atrocious from Adams.
-
Annoying to yet again gift them the lead
-
Was about to say we'd played very well except for the final finish. Moment of luck i think is deserved. Their goal(deflection had a little luck too_
-
Personally think A Armstrong is doing a lot right today. Just a shame his confidence in front of goal is so low.
-
Doubly annoying. Bad Mistake by stephens coupled with jammy livramento deflection on sterling shot. Elyounessi has looked very weak defensively.
-
I hope i'm wrong but i think Elyounessi is a bigger problem. Don't think he's terribly suited a game where we are likely to be relying on scraps and breaking quickly.
-
If that's the lineup i'm more disappointed that that Redmond hasn't come in for Elyounessi than the changes up front.
-
Hopefully Adam Armstrong has a Adams moment against City today.
-
I got overly worked up about the possibility of changes last time round but very much wouldn't this time round. The difference is that last time the so called first 11 were playing well. After the atrocious displays in last 3 games you could well argue quite a few players deserve benching.
-
Yeah i find it bizarre. Clearly i'm blind because i thought Armstrong was actually fairly lively off the bench on Thursday. Clearly ralph saw something completely different to exclude him completely from today's disaster of a performance.
-
Absolutely pathetic display. Really getting sick of this team that fools you into thinking they give a damn and then shows a yellow streak a mile long.
-
This Saints team looks like they've never played football in their lives before
-
Completely clueless by Saints since i've managed to see any of the game.
-
Not sure if i should be happy at the lack of a working stream. The way Saints are intent on throwing away the season probably means its better i don't watch such garbage.
-
Atrocious from Saints. So little intensity for most of the game. Newcastle are a really poor side but they actually wanted to win while Saints wanted to pass the ball backwards slowly.
-
Can't understand why we haven't made changes considering how awful we are playing
