Marginally better actually having a 2 forward player. Still no clue why we are playing 5 at the 5 back while 2 down away to burnley.
-
He so wants to be Pep. Pep wants 5 subs so ralph wants 5 subs. Pep doesn't use subs when he's behind so ralph won't use subs
-
Does our halfwite manager have a bet on a burnley win?
-
Taking after his idol guardiola I see
-
Well wieghorst missed a sitter for them so he better not get tips from him. First was awful(massive space to get the ball into, second was tougher chance imo. Worse than missed chances Romeu has been bad at his day job.
-
The gutless mentality of this team is shocking. To be fair saints should probably be at least 3 behind. don’t get how our manager thought playing a defensive line up, leaving our attacker isolated against bottom of the table Burnley was a great plan. He’s amazingly fortunate we scrapped that jammy win at the weekend. there better be multiple subs at ht. There’s only a couple of players (kwp and forster) who look interested.
-
hope we take elyounessi and any one of the cb’s off at ht and bring on tella and Adams. shape is all wrong for this opposition. That said some of performances from saints players are truly abysmal.
-
Typical pathetic saints not taking chances and conceding the first chance.
-
Because i’m capable of having sympathy for 2 things at the same time. Because I dislike the thin edge of the wedge where it’s deemed acceptable to come after someone for dubious reasoning related to their ancestry.
-
Don’t see how punishing individuals based on ancestry who may not currently live in Russia at events where they wouldn’t be officially representing Russia is right or puts the slightest pressure on the Russian govt.
-
Bemused by that lineup. Just seems so negative on the face of it.
-
Think Wimbledon decision is wrong personally. Fair enough to ban Russia from Davis cup etc but on tour players are playing as individuals not officially representing their country.
-
Hopefully a change of formation and a more attacking mentality than the Arsenal game. With 2 games in swift succession you'd think we'll be looking to utilise the squad a bit more. Would like to see Tella getting a start now he's fit again.
-
Nice that it sounds like saints were able to win ugly. Let's hope confidence from it will inspire to play better and put together some points.
-
An off form arsenal desperate for a win versus an obliging saints that's already acting like it's their summer break. Yeah I can't muster any optimism for it.
-
Glad i avoided this game yesterday. Roll on next season. Very depressing the way Saints seem to have given up completely since the West Ham game.
-
The same point as the other jokes which didn't result in people running on stage to attack him.

Lol, Apparently the response to a famous african american man punching someone at the Oscars is racism. Yeah right. White outrage about Will Smith’s slap is rooted in anti-Blackness. It’s inequality in plain sight | Tayo Bero | The Guardian

Rock's got nothing to apologise for imo. The whole point of these roles is to make jokes about celebrities.
-
Well yes her reaction is what prompted his change in reaction. Not as if anyone going to or watching should be shocked that hosts are going to make jokes about celebrities present or not present.
-
Amusing to watch. Rock does a good job to roll with it at first but then becomes flustered by the further heckling. Don’t see how anyone could consider it staged. Smith’s clearly a talented actor but seems a very odd guy. So way this played out just adds to that feeling that he’s Become a figure of mockery. Curious to see if they punish him at all. Seems like they should but you doubt they’d have the bravery to do so.

How come there’s potentially no promotion?

I’m assumed the push with the leg contact the extra bonus. There’s definitely a discrepancy between the sort of contact allowed in certain situations ( the long one or on corners) compared to the low bar for the Jesus type incidents. There were minor incidents yestedaay where I thought dean was not equal but don’t think the penalty calls where really ones any other ref would have called differently.

I like what i've seen of Lyanco. Seems a good buy for the money. Shame he got injured when he did. Stephens is what he has always been, a streaky player who at times looks good but at others throws in bad mistakes like yesterday. A fair enough squad player for a club like Saints(though Valery might be challenging him for that role) Bednarek is the one who a few years ago looked like he might develop. The last 2 years he seems to have gone backwards. As a regular international, you'd think we might be able to find some takers for him.
