  1. And that worked a treat
  2. Can anyone recommend a boiler engineer who can fit a wireless thermostat pls. Lordswood area. Maybe there should be a recommendations / trades area on here too?
  3. Just watching a doc on tv and the reason behind hs2 is due to the French developing a new TGV (AGV) and wanting to expand the network europe wide. The AGV is set to go 500km/h
  4. how big are they - they look f**king massive
  5. 2012: "The challenges to rid the world of nuclear weapons, harness nuclear power, and meet the nearly inexorable climate disruptions from global warming are complex and interconnected. In the face of such complex problems, it is difficult to see where the capacity lies to address these challenges.” Political processes seem wholly inadequate; the potential for nuclear weapons use in regional conflicts in the Middle East, Northeast Asia, and South Asia are alarming; safer nuclear reactor designs need to be developed and built, and more stringent oversight, training, and attention are needed to prevent future disasters; the pace of technological solutions to address climate change may not be adequate to meet the hardships that large-scale disruption of the climate portends. should we be worried??
  6. long time coming, welcome addition. was really fed up of deleting off of both formats - and having 30 odd emails reappear in iphoneinbox every now and again!
  7. So who has bought them this time?
  8. Saw one last night and the mrs fell in love and we bought it. The boot space is big enough for our big pram and wheels. We won't be having the pram forever so when it goes down to just a pushchair setup there will be plenty of space. For now, of we go shopping etc we will take the family car. There's enough space on the back seat for the car seat an a real passenger, and thanks to parent and child spaces, plenty of room to get baby in the back. Drives like a dream, 3 owners from new, 103000 miles with FSH. Surprisingly large car
  9. Replace 'white' with 'black' and of it was a white person saying these comments, all hell would have broke loose. She won't, but she should, be sacked or stand down over this.
  10. Awesome news, congrats!! Hope mum and bubba are doing well. Also hope you're ok - dads get forgotten sometimes!!
  11. That makes more sense than most British newspapers and pretty much every kid under 16 nowadays.
  12. Good luck, Dr. We're 5 weeks in on our first child, and can still remember the chills and excitement of the day. Awful seeing the Mrs in pain, but well well worth it in the end. Hope all goes well
  13. Know what you mean JB but the Mrs has always wanted one and we need a second car so an ideal time.
  14. Anyone got one? Am thinking of getting one as a second car for the Mrs and bambino. I know they're only 2 door but are they any good for people with small kids? Boot big enough for pram etc? Will only be second car not main family car Edit: damn auto correct - VW not be!!
  15. a win is a win is a win dont care how it happens, as long as we get it...
  16. Where are the 2 lights coming from and why??
  17. Great thanks. We have a boiler maybe 2 years old, and only have on/off/timer and not a temp control on/off and want to see if this can be added to our boiler. Looks like it may be able to be added.
  18. Is it possible to install one to any boiler, or are you only able to add it to certain boilers? Ours only has timer set dial
  19. To you all.
  20. I agree with gingeletiss. A limit of zero will take the 'confusion' away. Because there is a limit, people push it and think 'I'll be ok to have one' - me included. If the limit was zero - I wouldn't have 1
  21. Exactly this. And my concern is that this is a completely unprovoked attack and what's to say that the pr1ck won't come back tonight and do it all over again with the spangly new tyres.
  22. But why should we have to fork out £150+ to replace something that was perfectly fine last night. 4 days before Christmas, too W ankers
  23. Lordswood. It's not even on a main road - its in a cul-de-sac where no one goes unless you live there....normally. Ass holes
  24. Some utter c**t decided to slash mine and 12 neighbours tyres last night - 23 in total. Merry Christmas.
