If the Scots vote to stay in, can we then have a vote to decide whether to kick them out? Sent from my GT-N5110 using Tapatalk -
Bled the radiators and entire system down recently but still no good. Think it may need pipes sorting but too much effort to pull up carpets. Annoying being woken up at 6.30 every day though! Sent from my GT-N5110 using Tapatalk

I've just turned on our central hearing his weekend for the first time this winter. I'd forgotten how annoying it was when, for the first 5-10 minutes, there is a knocking/tapping sound that wakes me up every time. Anyone know what this is, and how I can stop it?

Has anyone had any experience using a Roku? Looking at getting one as a media device for my 'dumb tv' as it still works fine and can't justify buying a new one. Sent from my GT-N5110 using Tapatalk

It's still fu**ing bizarre thinking that our rivals are Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool et al. Guess I'm so used to battling it out at the bottom that this (top 8 contenders) doesn't feel real yet

The turn on the touchline by Lallana after we scored was sublime. The first half was even, unlucky not to go in level. Their goal was offside, but they hit the bar - we could've score from Ossie. Second half we played them out of the game. Passed and moved, wanted the ball, gave options, never gave up. Typical United stuff, really. The goal was deserved from us. They had a few chances, yes, but we coped VERY well with all of them. Overall - a fair result if not a tiny bit harsh on us not to have got all 3 points. Wouldn't have turned down a point at 15:00 though, so happy. On to Fulham next week to follow up this fantastic away point. Anyone else staring to believe? -
I've just had my 60 plate Vauxhall Insignia MOT'd for the first time. It's passed, but has an advisory on the rear brake pads and discs - 90% worn. Would anyone know how much this should cost, and be able to recommend a good mechanic to replace these?

Blimey Turkish, that's horrendous. I don't mnow how we could afford it. We've had loft and cavity insulation done about 2 yrs ago and have solar panels (the free ones) - so maybe that all helps more than I'd imagined. I'm sure we use EDF for gas and elec, and southern water for water...just gone on to metered bills, and they have halved to £25 per month.
-
Do they only do this at a certain age? Am 32 and expecting our second (planned) kid in December. Don't really want any more after this. Been thinking about it this past week, but after reading this post I'm having second thoughts!! Laughing at some of the comments tho!
-
Just seen that EDF and British Gas are putting up prices by >9%....£120 per year increase. The BBC say that the average annual bill for dual fuel is C£1500. This seems very high. We've just had our Gas, Elec and Water rates REDUCED. We haven't changed providers, either. Think we pay £75 for the lot per month. We're a household of 2 adults and a 2yo in a 3 bed terraced house. I can't see how the AVERAGE is double what we're paying... Or how anyone could afford to pay this.
