Agree with this Gallagher is not quite ready yet. Feel very sorry for SRL as he is 32 and playing every game and has no one else to help him in that position. He must feel a great amount of pressure being the only lone striker with only an inexperienced CF behind him. Our main priority in the summer (as well as keeping our players) is bringing in a forward to help SRL in the CF position.

We desparately need another striker. Feel sorry for Lambert who has really no back up as the lone striker. The mess up was Osvaldo who would have been our number one striker with Lambert taking the back seat. Age is sadly catching up with Rickie and it is unfair to expect him to produce 90 mins a week. To say he has been poor for months is nonsense too. JRod has hardly been anything special the last few games.

Lambert is getting on and his form is changeable but the comments on this thread are a joke. Did someone say 11 goals and 9 assists this season? Where the club messed up was signing some nonce Italian hot head who has bailed and left us with Lambert and Gallagher as our only CFs. Otherwise we would rotate Lambert to keep him fitter.
