We desparately need another striker. Feel sorry for Lambert who has really no back up as the lone striker. The mess up was Osvaldo who would have been our number one striker with Lambert taking the back seat. Age is sadly catching up with Rickie and it is unfair to expect him to produce 90 mins a week. To say he has been poor for months is nonsense too. JRod has hardly been anything special the last few games.

Lambert is getting on and his form is changeable but the comments on this thread are a joke. Did someone say 11 goals and 9 assists this season? Where the club messed up was signing some nonce Italian hot head who has bailed and left us with Lambert and Gallagher as our only CFs. Otherwise we would rotate Lambert to keep him fitter. Our away support has defintely improved since the league one days. Being able to go away to different grounds in the lower league in big numbers (Orient away 2010) expecting to win was class. Far more exciting than rip off Emirates.
