He was brilliant in his prime. His legs have gone a bit now and the injuries he had obviously ain't helped hence he has adapted the way he plays. He plays deeper now and uses his great passing to influence the game, hence he doesn't greb the headlines for winning games like he used to. I would rather have Lampard in my team than Gerrard.

I think our success in the lower leagues can take a lot of credit for that. As well as various football league grounds many had not been to. Orient away always stands out for me. Totally took over their ground.

Pretty decent in this current climate of expensive tickets, tv games and streams etc. What is our average away attendance and what was it in 03/04? Would be interesting to note.

With Sunderland I think he has been relatively rubbish. They are such a dreadfully boring team to watch. So glad we don't play like them.

His biggest weakness shooting, but it was great to see him back to his best yesterday. Was a performance of a player who is the second best English youngster in the PL. And he is only 24 so still yet to peak. Needs to work on this aspect of his game.

Norwich are a high energy team who will play with tempo. This will help the way we play under MP. They don't seem to have players that scream pace either as far as I know (Holt, Snodgrass was never fast, Pilkington). This is a must win ahead of two difficult home games. Davis for Gaston and JRod for Lallana.
