I tend to agree with Adrian. However, if we were unlucky with injuries (say ings/hoj/redmond out long term) then I think we'd struggle to stay up. With cedric, bertrand, ings and lemina all fit under this manager we have a mid table team no doubt. We don't have that currently however due to injuries and suspensions. I think the fanbase forget that RH has dragged us away from the relegation zones whilst regualry having 3 or 4 of our best players unavailable each game... It's therefore time for some perspective please. Far better to play the long game and do the massive restructuring in the summer. I know that's boring and not very exciting, but it's a surer route to enjoying saints more in the future. If we spend now we don't get value for money and we gamble massivley on quality and impact.

Les Reed left this club far far far too late. Hamstrung our potential and stopped us achieving our own Leicester City fairytail. All the fans that defend him are the ones that let the rot set in.

Honestly guys, tottenham are in 1st gear here. Its easy as anything versus us. If did actually score they'd just go whack a couple in at our end. We are ****e. Confidence is at 10below... Hope the new guy is up for it. At least he has no illusions.

I suspect the appointment of Mitchell would be delayed but is perhaps agreed verbally or in principle. Perhaps for next summer? Its not a coincidence that he was previously linked and now we have gone for the Leipzig manager who were both at the club together. We are very clearly going to copy the Leipzig model (our old model under Cortese and Poch - Pre balding old greedy fat man). Its brilliant really, Les did nothing but dismantle the previous regime from the second he got control of the club. He's gone, and immediately we seem to be in for a Poch style manager and getting Mitchell back. All his hard work, completely ripped up and reversed within weeks... Love it. If reed had stayed he would have been far worse for this club that Lowe. Taking us from a European contender to a league 1 team, whilst destroying our identity. I have no doubt.

Think it goes to show that any line up without Hoedt is capable. Stephens, Yoshi, Vest - they are all better CB's. Valery was a beast. Redmond did well. Obafemi looks a handful if nothing else. Midfield 3 were good. I know its popular to hate hughes, but our performances have been solid recently (bar city). I honestly think we are very low on confidence and we just need to get some luck and a wiin and things will improve.

Unlucky. But good performance. The fans need to have some perspective on this one. We really should have won this. Hit the woodwork numerous times, ball cleared off the line, another goal ruled out harshly.
