Fabio is actually a right back. The only reason he plays left back is because rafael is the better of the two. Which tbh is even better as he is capable of playing both positions well.

I really feel we've missed out on fabio from Manchester United. The fact he has gone to QPR surely means we would have had a great chance of getting him based on what happened with Macheda last season. He would of been an amazing signing and ideal for RB this year.

We should not be spending 6 million on an untried keeper. The wise thing to do will be to take Mcgregor on a free who still has alot of playing time ahead of him. Hes only 30 so potentially another 10 years. That to me seems a better investment than Butland.

I agree with MLG here. The days of the makelele are gone. Defensive midfielders now have to be able to start attacks and be a decent passer of the ball rather than just winning tackles and offloading 2 yard balls to the creative midfielders. Just look at the likes of tiote/song/carrick for example.
