Not agitated, I just hate them. Havn't exactly hidden that, or made much of a secret of it. Well done you on picking up on it though.

What do fans actually expect? What managers will "actually want to be here", or "be commited to the cause"? Can't imagine there is a wealth of talented coaches out there who grew up dreaming of managing Southampton Football Club.

Nope, not allowed. No one is allowed to say anything nasty about UKIP. It isn't fair. What does he know anyway, it's obviously a stitch up by them people in London that went to school. Pah, school, I never went to one of them, and I turned out all right. Tell me what to say next please Nigel. I love you Nigel. Drink beer with me please Nigel.

Yeah, much better to just be a relentlessly wet blanket, like Charlie has been since Cortese left. Eh?
-
Well, that's an all together separate issue.

Yeah, I bet he had nothing to do with the Osvaldo signing.

Weren't we kind of flat-track bullies this year? In general we beat the teams below us, and lost to those above us. I mean, clearly that is generalised and there are exception (Liverpool away, Cardiff home etc). But suggests 'Plan A' worked quite well against the teams below us.

Joe Allen was singled out in that agreement, and they had to pay £15m for him. I'd argue Swansea got the better end of that deal. He's hardly lit up the place at Anfield.
-
If he goes, we really need to stick in a clause like Swansea did with Rodgers.
-
I like Gylfi, would take him down at Saints if he doesn't fit in there. I'd also take a punt on Holtby too, at the right price. Not amazing, but can do a job in the S Davis type role I reckon. Seems more workman than creator from what I have seen of him.

Rose is ok, don't think he is Top 4 quality. Then again, Liverpool came second and they have well, who even is there left back? Cissoko, Flanagan, Sakho? None are great LBs really, Chelsea have had a RB playing LB most of the season, I'm not hugely sold on Kolarov at City either. Don't think Gibbs is brilliant either really. Basically, the top 4 isn't exactly awash with top quality FBs at the moment. I spoke up for Walker last year, he made me look rather foolish. Hope if MP goes he doesn't come sniffing for one of our RBs. Verthonghen is a good CB, never been sold on Kaboul seems a clumsy lump to me. Townsend is useless FFS Demonstrates what is wrong with English football, and English football fans. "HE IS A PACY WINGER!! HE TAKES PEOPLE ON!!" He is literally head down, run, and then spank it from 30 yards, either in the vague direction of goal (about the only time he hit the target was whilst playing for England, suddenly he is the effing messiah we don't need) or across the pitch to no-one. Loses possession with no end product so often it's criminal. His fans are probably those who still harp on about Puncheon, and how amazing he was. My Spurs mates (got a fair few being a NW London lad) all to a man think he is useless. There's a decent team in that squad somewhere. Just need to thin out the midfielders (make a decision on Lamela - must have talent, but christ knows he showed none of it last season), get a decent striker (their biggest problem) and a decent partner for Jan V and they have every chance of a decent season, imo.

He'll probably live in Hertfordshire where most players of London teams live.

Chambers to Pompey for £4m

Dammit tim, you blew our cover! Was fun while it lasted

I dunno mate, I reckon it's probably more of a British/Football fan trait. I'm sure we're about the same as every club. I imagine all clubs face similar problems in that respect.

Fans: "Why haven't you told us what is going on?!?!" SRM: "There's nothing to tell you ladies and gents, nothing has happened." Fans: "Well, why havn't you told us that nothing is happening, since the last time you told us nothing has happened." and so on. Not to mention the utterly banal and trivial stuff (as alluded to above) that will take up the majority of the day. "There was no toilet roll in this toilet" "The shop ran out of kitkats at HT" "The paint was coming off in the turnstiles" "It was too cold when I was sat watching the game" "My tea was too hot" Christ, you'd have to be some sort of masochist. I'd lose patience and spaz out pretty darn quick in that role.

Ah, nice input man. I've explained why I disagree with pap. Are you just waiting for him to make your rebuttal to that also? Or are you going to be so bold as to actually make some points of your own?

Reminds me of this

The Euros are a protest vote. Look at some of the results in the past. Locals are too, to a lesser extent. If UKIP are serious about this earthquake, and want to get anywhere in Generals, they are going to have to deal with FPTP. So, no, it really isn't a poor argument. You need less votes, in locals, and there are more seats available, failing to gain any is not a good sign that your political earthquake is on the way.

I was talking about London, how have they done in London?
-
Whilst yes, London is different it isn't exactly an alien entity in the south of Britain. There is still a lot of British people, and a lot of white people (not just from London but all over the UK). It is different in that it is bigger, has higher rates of immigration and more stress on public services than housing. I never asked, why is London different, I asked why did UKIP perform so poorly in London. I said that many of the things that UKIP shouts so loudly about are more prevalent in London than many of the other places in the country, including Essex. So thought it was interesting that they did so badly here. I also didn't say foreigners = brainwashing. I was responding to you saying that basically anyone who thinks UKIP have a racist rhetoric (I actually said xenophobic) is doing so because the media told me so. I couldn't possibly have come to that conclusion on my own accord, nor could anyone else.

I quite like this Derby team, Shhhhccctteeeeve has done a decent job to be fair. Would love us to steal Will Hughes off them, the kid looks a serious talent. Plus, just LOLs at QPR. They will be all kinds of screwed. Harry will walk away, no doubt none of it will be his fault. "Well it was an impossible job, I never stood a chance with that squad. I need to get some more of my own players in"
-
Those bloody germans, coming over here, taking our MEPs secretary jobs etc
-
So they don't appeal to those affected by the things they claim are problems in this country?
-
These are great.
