I wouldn´t say no to getting AOC back cause he is also a great player, just saying I dont think I´ll take the swap. I think Gaston will improve very much just to next season and I can see him winning a game or two on the run-in this year. Only time will tell but I disagree completely with everyone saying we should sell him....

Agree, and I dont think I would make that swap. Gaston has much more potential as I see it and Ox hasn´t been able to get in their side regurly....

Agree. And he is often in very good positions between opponents CB and CM but our other players aren´t able to pick him out with the through pass. If they will start do that he will be in the areas with the ball where he is really going to be a danger for the opponents.

Yep, that IS the story about the club since Cortese came in.... And please don´t get started about Ox, we all (well at least the rest of us) know the story behind that transfer....

Don´t remember the specific passes but against QPR there was hardly any space to put the balls over the defenders and getting it to attackers. But as I say, I dont know what sepcific passes you are referring to so I might be wrong. My point is just that QPR had their defensive line so low that the best choice usually is to try through passes on the ground...

I agree about Newcastle game. Against QPR we had the ball most of the time, then the pressing game cant be used in the same way. Same against Norwich but we could probably have done more pressing there too, agree. I though think that the conditions can be a factor for the lack of it. I think the pressing game is more effective against other teams that want to keep possession, in the other games we need to be more chlinical, cause we are producing enough chances to win games.

So why are people not saying "we should have spent £45m" but instead they are saying "we should have spent the money in different areas and not pay £7m for players that cant get into the team"? And you haven´t seen any threads here suggesting that we are risking the club because we have spent £25-30m last summer??

Maybe because it´s not the first time Rodriguez is brought up on this forum when discussing the transfer policy. And it´s not like I´m first to say/think that on this forum..... So I am saying we had a finite pot to spend.....well I would have thought that me making a question of it would mean the opposite.....

Why is it always the either/or? Why do people think that just because we bought JRod for £7m we didn´t have money to buy a new CB? Can it be so easy that the right player wasn´t available for the right price? We dont know, but if so it would be a fair and good strategy I think....
