  1. The thought of that game still makes me sick
  2. 40 years supporting the club at actual real life football matches and this current situation is the most dispiriting. I’ve passed this to my sons and they may never have an idea what it’s like to support a real football club. We all accept that we aren’t the best but all we’ve become is a boring brand that’s losing/lost its soul. The board, and this manager who seems to have lost most of the players have disconnected ‘the brand’ from the people with absolute bullshit across the business, apart from the foundation whose activity is paid for by donations and the Premier League. Even the media don’t care/talk about us because what is there to say? Gary Lineker is hardly going to get excited about our shared values with a crypto currency brand. They make it hard to care and have dented our club’s heart, but because it’s our football club through thick and thin, they know this can be abused.
  3. 5-5 formation and we could keep the score down and lose respectfully. New no shots at all record set as well. Losing is most likely outcome.
  4. He probably should not have contributed to the building of the guillotine. Vive La revolution!
  5. Weirdly, it’ll be one we get a result from and everything will be rosy.
  6. Then perhaps there’s another common factor over the last few seasons. Semmens and co are as arrogant and convinced of their own brilliance as Ralph so they might need a kick from the ‘better’ minds at SR.
  7. Great statement from Hummel and Denmark about the disgraceful treatment of workers in the building of the forthcoming World Cup. It should never have been in the country and is a stain on the history of FIFA and football’s embrace of money over everything else.
  8. You appear to have missed the first name on the team sheet: Mr Harry Maguire
  9. JWP wouldn’t have been close to a Graham Taylor England team. If he played for a big club, he’d be in the squad. Although not on this season’s form. But that doesn’t matter anyway.
  10. Which is precisely why he probably didn’t want to join us as he will go on to bigger and better quicker.
  11. No excuses for Saints on this. But rumour has it that the club made a whole bunch of people redundant at the beginning of lockdown to save costs, and in public, said they weren’t furloughing anyone and looked good because of that piece of PR spin. Time to get on the right track Saints and make that halo sit properly.
  12. It certainly isn’t improving
  13. Still hotter and better in bed than the current girlfriend
  14. I’d prefer a season of good, or at least committed performances if possible
  15. Very difficult to excuse last night. And the simple reality is that it continues a theme, and we are losing without any quality or fight to poor teams. I thought the new coaches might have made a difference but if the person at the top is still not leading well, making good decisions and motivating, then a change is probably the best course of action.
  16. That. Was. Fucking. Dreadful.
  17. It’s tempting to switch over to non-stop coverage of people in queues. So boring.
  18. Gakpo is this year’s Promes. If we don’t sign him, let’s hope he doesn’t turn out to be a star unlike some of the others we didn’t sign despite it being done/happening in the next transfer window.
  19. Postponed match means one less game where we won’t have Lavia available
  20. Someone from the West Country. Shock horror 🤣
  21. Lavia and Bella-Kotchap will be sold in less than two years for £50m+ so that’s the model.
  22. Sad but true. Won’t happen though as they’re likely to be beneficiaries.
  23. VAR is impacting enjoyment of the game, making it feel like it’s biased in favour of big teams and is not being used when it’s supposed to be used. It is failing.
  24. That was one of those games. Shitty goal to concede, and then we couldn’t create truly decent chances. Signings look good and impactful. Ralph listening to coaches again. On to the next match.
  25. He might rest the younger lads but ABK has top flight seasons under his belt. A good thing now is that the players seem to have a better attitude towards doing well. Hopefully Che and A. Armstrong continue their solid start to the season. COYR
