I reckon we need to knock this one on the head fellas. We can’t afford to get rid of Ralph financially. We’d be up a very shitty creek with no paddle…and no arms. We just have to hope we can stay up, which we should, but it isn’t going to be a walk in the park.
-
Part of me feels a little sorry for Ralph as players just don’t move the ball forward well enough at all…but then he continues to stick with them and makes strange selections/substitutions. Thank goodness Leeds were heavily down on players as we would likely still be looking for a first win.

This tears me apart. Hate the England band but by Jove our quiet fans need a kick up the arse to make some noise!
-
if the club paid for the shirts, I bet they would wear them…although the band member wearing MLT will need to stand 2m away from everyone so it respects his anti-vax stance
-
Good at breaking things up but flippic’ ‘eck, his passing can be piss poor.
-
Will be good to get 3 points but bloody hell, Leeds are sh!te.
-
Gao never said that though, Kat said it…what she didn’t clarify was that it meant it was taking her bank balance to the next level

Idiots. Idiots everywhere

It’s because we play zonal

I used to have lots of sex, now I don’t. I’m not hopeful of having more sex in the future. It’s similar to how I see Ralph’s past, present and future. You live in hope even if you’re not remotely hopeful things will improve.

The thing with Djneppo is that he does run around, looks lively but that ‘through ball’ hit way beyond the overlapping runner late on that went out for a goal kick summed him up. His production rate is terrible. 49 matches, 3 goals and 2 assists. We desperately need attacking midfielders who produce goals and assists.

Yeah, was very noticeable. Players aren’t playing for him but some of what he does makes it hard to think he knows what he’s doing. Can’t get rid though, we are in too deep with him.

Well that was easy…for Wolves. We lose a battle of the shite teams

The thing about gambling is that the business of SFC is all about extracting as much money from people as possible. Absolutely fine. What makes a mockery of it is that the spin is that we are a family friendly, community-minded organisation who care about things such as mental health etc. They couldn’t give a fcuk, that’s just marketing bollocks and any sponsorship by betting is the proof. Advice to the club’s directors: just don’t lie when you know it’s about cash and profit and making sure you can pay for kid’s school fees etc. Apartments in Ocean Village when you stay over because you can’t get back to London or wherever early enough.

Hoedt thought he was Van Dijk but he was actually Dryden.

To be fair to lyanco, Italy has an appreciation of the defensive art like no other nation so Torino fans had time to judge him thinking of some of the best defenders the game has ever seen. I think he has a long way to go and whether he makes it or not is still to be judged. With us though, he does have some of the most passive, least expectant, and forgiving fans to win over. We don’t make a lot of noise but we also won’t get on peoples back that ferociously. He’s got plenty of time.

Mad that Ali Dia only had one match and was written off so quickly

This 100%. We could pretty much guarantee him first team football, which none of the big clubs could or would. I’d give him anywhere between 1 or 3 years max with us. If he’s consistent all season, adds a few goals and assists, he will have proven he can cut it and he will be off to one of the giants for a sizeable fee, which is a win-win for the player and club.

Is Horseman, like Martin Hunter before him the right person for this job? I’ve said it before but surely someone who is working around these players at this stage needs to also be a mentor and therefore experienced at playing at the highest level or this football club? Radhi should have at least been in with a shout but his face obviously didn’t fit and he was booted out in favour of (most likely) a mate of Matt Hale’s.

Saint and Greavsie was proper football telly…but according to the BBC premier league wankfest documentary and the corporate cocks, football was shit before that. Bollocks was it. RIP to a proper football legend

If he sells at a loss, he’s a dead man. And possibly not just in business terms.

Defensive solidity is building, now for the attack to work. Redmond and Djneppo the weak links in this part of our game.
-
He was absolutely right

For one moment, I’m forgetting FFP (because that’s clearly a load of old bollocks) and dreaming of a time in the future when we had an owner with more to invest… We could make more capital investments in the stadium to increase match day revenue from greater attendances, or even just pay for safe standing to improve the experience. We could improve the facilities at the training ground even further and extend them. We could invest in making the area around St. Mary’s more attractive to visitors and making more money from rentals, income for the club if it was able to. We could bring in a crack commercial team and get rid of people very comfortable with the way things are and don’t want to do too much and risk their cosy jobs. We could give Matt Crocker the money to get the best possible football staff in. We could be more aggressive in the recruitment of younger players so making it easier to compete with Chelsea specifically. Then, any money made from more lucrative and numerous commercial deals, increased ticket revenue, player transfers could just be used for football. Basically, it is what Man City have done in addition to spending on players. None of this is going to happen though but a boy can dream.

Read the article with Jason Dodd talking about Like Shaw the other day and how his, and Willo’s experience of top flight first team football was used to help the players make the step up. Since Les backed Martin Hunter over him falling out with Dodds and Williams, we’ve gone for coaches who don’t have the experience of playing at the top which is probably really important in this phase as it’s kind of a finishing school. It’s mostly mates of people, not the best and most appropriate coaches and in many ways, mentors. Interesting comments about Fulham too. Funnily enough, they employ a number of the high quality coaches and staff we had back when the academy was good. if I was Crocker, I’d be looking to get some better coaches in for the B team, and if possible, some who’ve played for Saints as they have a deeper connection with the club. It’s what other good clubs do and makes sense.
