Certain players I agree. Usually don't pay too much attention to their social media posts and respect that they have a life outside of football, but was disappointed to see almost jovial posts about flying home from Hojbjerg and Cedric, whilst Charlie Austin was retweeting horse racing nonsense and plugs for his football academy almost immediately after the game. Not asking for their social media manager to post an Anichebe style apology but in my opinion, its not very tactful or respectful to the fans who travelled all over Europe for those performances.

Anyone else flying Ryanair on the 21st/have any info on whether their flights will be affected?

Thanks for posting - I couldn't get the attachment to work. Would be interested in people's thoughts on the segmentation - do you think that you fit into the suggested groups? I looked at segmenting by behaviour, however didn't have quite enough data to form robust segments (e.g. the father/son day tripper, the family man, lad loyalist etc.) Have had 15 responses so far on the new survey and already seeing some very interesting results. As you may recall, I recently posted a survey on here about customer experience at Southampton FC for part my university placement year. I’ve had some great feedback from both my university and also senior people at the business where I’m completing my internship on this research, and it is now ready to share on here (picture should be attached!). Very random question, but was wondering if anyone knew how many bars/food counters there are inside St Mary’s? Doing a bit of research for a uni project and can’t seem to find any information on this for Southampton or any other club that I try! If not, I would appreciate any best guesses…! Thanks.

Thanks! Questions were off the back of the previous survey - tried to draw out themes that are unique to Saints rather than basing my research around "if the prices of football tickets were cheaper, more people would go to games.." The volume monitor question was just a random idea that I had during the West Brom away game when the advertising board kept the putting up the message "Southampton are now without a win in 12 EPL away games". What do other people think about this? Would it be tacky or would it gamify stadium atmosphere and galvanise fans into getting behind the team?

UPDATE. Thanks again to everyone who responded to the survey – there has been some really interesting patterns in the data. Some themes that run throughout include queues, quality of half time entertainment and the quality/price/selection of food at half time. I’m hoping to develop this research and see how Southampton compares to other clubs both within football and also across other sports. To do this, I will quantify the key trends and to support my arguments with statistics, for example, “Southampton loses £X per season in food/drink sales due to long queues for the bar”. I have developed a second version of the survey and I would be really grateful if people were as helpful as last time in filling this out (150 responses in 2 days?!). This one should be much quicker to complete as it’s just a few yes/no and multiple choice questions.
