Sacking a bright prospect of a manager that enthused the crowds and would have had at least the same attendances as last season, for a no hope, clueless, manager from the Dutch semi-pro leagues with no experience outside of the low countries have anything to do with it John B ????

It really isn't that simple. Thinking it so is another contributory factor to where we are. 5 thousand fewer people paying through the turnstiles as a direct or indirect result of Lowe once more at the helm can't be ignored.

The International Fund for Endangered Saints Fans. A threatened species.

BBC radio this morning was discussing philanthropy and mentioned how some very rich individuals have given hundreds of millions to help world poverty, they named Warren Buffet and Bill Gates; while other multi, multi billionaires haven't given a single penny, they named Paul Allen. He sounds like the sort of mean, penny pinching, miserable tosser we're used to running our club. Good job we managed to side step him. http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/factual/starttheweek.shtml

I certainly don't think its a coincidence the recent home wins came on the days that we were protesting.
-
The only way I can describe Saints, since our back to back home wins and the win at Ipswich, is apathy. From the player and the fans. Not one do or die performance on the pitch, no rallying cries to storm up the table and Save our Saints, not one anti Lowe/Board demonstration to free our club. Even traffic on this site seems to have dwindled. I include myself in the apathy. I think I've eventually reached a point where I associate the Saints, the badge, the red and white stripes, with Rupert Lowe, Michael Wilde, Guy Askham etc, not with the history of Southampton or it's people at all. And that makes it hard to give a flying ****. We may go down, we may stay up but will anyone care?
-
You said it. Stereotyping. What about Yorkshire; Leeds, Sheff United, Sheff Wednesday, Rotherham, York City, Halifax, etc all have been very close to going bust in the last 5 years, and most are still financial trouble. But then their fans are probably happier mowing the Lawn.

We're got no chance on Saturday unless we protest before, and during the game. Its a proven fact.
-
And you believe that ?????? LMAO. :---) Apart from anything else, if that were the case wouldn't it be easier for him just not to draw such a large wage, (I was also 'told by someone' that it's close to £1/4 million pa). And, Lowe being Lowe, if it were true his PR team would be circulating the story to every news agency in the English and Dutch speaking world.

Oh ffs, get over yourself. i dont konw what happened, nor do i know what the harry Robrets song is, but just coming on a web site giving it the large one about "these people", makes you look similar to them but without the nerve to say it in public. Maybe you should it for the Daily Mail.

What a load of balls. If anyone thinks that A) The powers that be would take the blindess bit of notice what this parliament thinks, or B) The powers that be would allow anyone into this talking shop who would ask serious questions, they need there head examined. For what it's worth i nominate: Rich Chorley, Perry McMillan, Clive Foley, Fitzhugh_fella and the 22 stone knuckle dragger sitting near me on Saturday.

Yeah like any Tory in government over the last decade would have increased social housing provision, increased the general housing stock, increased interest rates, banned mortgages of over 90%, banned reduced rates on second homes, or any of the other measures that would have cooled the housing market. However, I would describe Lowes chairmanship as a stranglehold. Very few fans want him here, a large proportion of shareholders don't want him, but alas the old axis of Askham, Withers, Richards newly abetted by 'Spineless' Mike Wilde and hey presto, we got ourselves a stranglehold.

After Surmans recent performances I would happily drive him to Everton myself.

Do you want to expand on your reasoned argument before you go off to school?

You talking ****** Niney, If you were a real Saints fan, born in the fair city of Southampton, breathing Sotonian air, and wanted to compare DCFC to us, you would talk about how DCFC didn't sell out their play-off semi final ticket allocation at SMS on a Saturday. And we sold out a greater number of tickets for the return leg on a tuesday night. But you don't care about that, or civic pride, you just want to support Rupes and his share price.
-
He's gone now and I'm a little too ****ed to work out what he was on about. Was he being rude, anyone?
-
Ssshhhh, .........it's gone 1am,........... there is only you and me here Nineteen Canteen. Between us,.......Shsssss..... I won't say a word.... But are you really Rupert?
-
Go and support Derby then you kock. You could take Rupes with you to sprinkle some of his fairy dust around. I'll be selling Derby short
-
Rupert bought shares at 65p now under his own foolishness they're worth 14p . Help me nineteen, how can I work that into a song?
-
We love you Rupert, we do, We love you Rupert, we do. We Love you Rupert we DOOOOO, oh Rupert we Love you. Pity about your share price though. I love watching him loose his money day by day by day
