I got to agree with Bournemouth Saint. I have been to all the home games this season and have had the misfortune to watch DMG. The man is not CCC or even league One standard. I think his goal scoring recordd speaks for itself. He is marginally more useful in midfield, but still not up to it. Slow to react, little or no closing down in players, unable to create space. Total flop in an otherwise good team performance.

Was Lowe a lot closer to being right than we give him credit for?

Thank god those old lags were eventually allowed to return and help save the day eh? I think you will also find approx 12,000 previous season ticket holders have decided not to renew their tickets as a result of Lowes hair brained ideas over the years, glad to hear you have persevered though. Together will shall overcome. -
Two tough away games will give us a better idea. Problem is when we got so far into the relegation mire it is not just about us getting results, we need others to go our way. Yesterdays result would have bean sweeter if more of our rivals failed to win.

Yeah the officals were the best we've had for ages. A good indication is how many times they get the book out. I think only JE was booked yesterday late on.

SFC - Have we finally passed the lowest point ?
docker-p replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
Maybe past the worst. Lowe has conceded his youth revolution was an unmitigated failure, and we are now playing with two experienced players up front. But I doubt good times are about to return anytime soon. For that we need new investment which Lowe can't or wont find, and/or increased revenue through bigger crowds, which also is unlikely until Lowe disappears back under his stone. But it was good to walk away from SMS yesterday happy with 3 points. -

And this season, cheap inexperienced players = almost certain relegation if the experiement hadn't been abandoned. -
Cardiff fan dead/on life support machine...

I agree 100%. If it turns out he was a total innocent then he would have my greatest sympathy, but from what I gather he was just another gobby welsh drunk giving it the large one and got smacked. Tough sh*t I'm afraid, but it happens all the time. -
I think the linesmen got both decisions right. The first the guy had both hands waving in the air which blocked the cross, the second the ball drop onto a outstretched but not high hand and didn't alter the flight of the ball significantly. I may of course interpret it differently if i were Welsh.

Didn't Laurie Mac base a successful career around just that formular??? Maybe RL should have asked LM !!!! -

Yesterday, 10 of the 11 starters were here when Lowes dark menace returned. He dictates the older, experienced players should not be used and go out on loan. We go to our lowest point for 50 years. The policy is revoked we start getting results. What part of that experiment is anything other than a complete unmitigated failure????? -

Ha ha ha, I wonderd how long it would take you to trot out your "its all the fans fault'" line. You're priceless.:smt082:rolleyes: -

Broadly the policy is exactly the opposite. Lowe didn't want to use the older, experienced (and expensive) players. But once he was persuaded he was wrong and they were brought back into the fold, hey presto, we start getting results. Lowe is a busted flush and the sooner we rid ourselves of his dark presence, the sooner we can sleep at night safe in the knowledge we won't have to suffer another of his hair brained get rich quick schemes. -
1 and 3, I agree with. But the rest is bull. However that still puts you miles ahead of the incumbent.

????????????? Taking irony and satire into account, this has to be the least funny, most pointless post of the year.

You are at least one out, as I wasn't going tomorrow (for the first time since 1975), but now I am. Pay attention. Feel free to edit to 19,427.

With agents come kick backs and bungs. Is that a small window into why Askham, Richards, and Withers etc continue to support Lowe?
-
You're right there. We need one coherent fans group, we can all muster behind. To have that you need one coherent leader. Alas cometh the hour....

You don't seem to be that familiar with humour yourself.
-
How ironic. You appear to be doing what you're accusing everyone else of doing.

Passions are running high at the moment. And there may well not be a football club for this forum to talk about soon if people don't get their heads out of their arses and collectively do something. Apologies if this upsets your friendly on-line banter.

I'm loosing huge interest in this site. There seems to be so many posters on here who just want to discuss who was the Saints best inside right of all time, or their ten best card games to play on the Travel Club coach; while happily ignoring that we are a our lowest ebb for 50 years and about to go bust. But lets not talk about the chairmen eh?
-
Unless he is going to say "yeah, i f*@ked up, sorry", whats the point of hearing what that Jelly has to say? **** OFF RICHARDS AND GROW A BACKBONE
-
You underestimate Lowes Profile. A hell of a lot more Charlton fans Know of Lowe than Saints fans know of Charltons Chairmen. When you are that much of a Clown the news spreads
-
I can think of no chairman in living memory as hated as much as Lowe. Not only by Saints fans, but football fans across the country. Alas the only people who count ie. Askham, Wilde, Richards, Withers, etc seem to adore Relegation Rupert.

Mary Corbett felt "threatened" and "physically intimidated" by Lowe
docker-p replied to jonah's topic in The Saints
I wish Lowe would try to threaten and physically intimidate me, rather than women. But thats probably Lowe all over.
