Were you the only two from this forum to play then ? -
Lets have your predictions for how many points we will finish on
slickmick replied to Turkish's topic in The Saints
76 points. Huddersfield to finish 6th on 78 points. -
The statement of affairs from Vantis is the one that matters. Android can smudge it all he likes, but no court in the land will take his word for it.

When we were 9 points adrift of playoffs back in December, but we had a lot more teams between us compared to now. With so many teams between us it only takes us to have a slip up a few times and there will be one or more teams who don't and the gap widens very quickly. It takes a lot longer to claw those points back because even if 6th place slips up, teams in 7th,8th or 9th will take up the pace. Now there are less teams between us and 6th, I think you will see that point gap close a lot quicker. Just as a matter of interest, who was the 6th placed team back then ?

I wonder what the stats are for the games we started 4 5 1 ?

Resolve is good followed by eggs and beans on toast, then stick your head under a cold shower. I am the expert on hangovers. p.s stick to the same drink if poss.

April fools jokes are a pain in the arse. Been caught out twice already.

So many boo's heard by so many people. Has anyone come on here and admitted that they were booing Cortese yet ? Seems strange if not.
-
Not going to start another thread because I didn't rate him, but the guy that plays left wing for Carlisle (the one Dan Harding had in his pocket) is supposedly to have had an inquiry some weeks back from Saints.
-
Give it a rest ffs.
-
Block 233 ? I was in block 232, tried to take a photo of Matty just as Antonio scored. All you can see is peoples arms.
-
Same in block 232 Cortese was not the one being booed.
-
Same here, hardly slept and have a small hangover. Meeting in the pub at 8.30 for a beer before boarding a sure to be noisy coach. I'm taking plenty of suppliies of anadin and red bull + beer of course,

Not sure if I'm missing your meaning here, but Owusu-Abeiye's lending club is Russian, so not much chance of him playing against them and I'm pretty sure they would have given him permission to play in the cup.
-
Hope you don't mind, but I've put this on here http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/A65585460?s_fromedit=1&s_type=10&s_sport=football

But he's not played against the lending club.

Them slippery smelly fish fiddlers will squirm their way out of it. They always do. They will probably say that the £500k upfront was projected wages/bonuses ect. Cheats.
-
Unfortunately that doesn't cover the deal that Pompey had to adhere to.
-
The fact it hasn't already would suggest they are being kept alive to see out the season. Everyone knows their dead so why keep them alive ? Who are the ones calling the shots to decide when to switch off the life support machine ? Who would it affect most if they dissapeared before the seasons end?

I've tried it several times and 80 points seems to be the cut off point. Colchester to win 4, draw 3 and lose 2 = 79 points. Huddersfield to win 5 and draw 4 = 80 points. Basically we have to win them all to go up. Not a chance. :smt086

I'll be honest and say that I regret saying I wouldn't be interested in this trophy a few months back. I was wrong. I can hardly concentrate on anything else at the moment, I have that butterflies in the stomach feeling that I used to get as a kid on a christmas eve. I'm going up in what will be a very noisy coach and just can't wait for that first view of Wembley in the distance. See you all there.:smt041

How much other teams (Norwich) have really spent...
slickmick replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
McGoldrick = Connelly Rasiak = Lambert Surman = Hammond Dyer = Puncheon Yep, if only we had kept them. Strange how such talent can be struggling with their respective clubs.
