They should give us an ultimatum, that if by the end of the season we haven't found a buyer that will honour our debts in much the same way as Derby did, then we will be deducted points. Doing it this way would be the fairest for everyone involved.

Our average gates were about 30,000 from memory. I can't remember many times gates being under 27,000.

I really don't understand what your trying to say here. I can't see how the very survival of our club is not more important than seing a few celebrities running around. We had reduced ticket prices, Rupert Lowe has gone, it was a warm sunny day and the club were getting massive exposure in the media to come and help save our club. Now if we can't sell out under those circumstances then it just goes to show how plastic many of our so called fans are.

I struggle to agree with any of that. 27000 at £15 a ticket is not as good as I was expecting. We got 25000 against Forest and that was with Lowe in charge. So a staggering 2000 extra come back because Lowe has gone or was it because of the desperate call for fans to fill the stadium just so that we have a chance to see our club stay in existance until the end of the season. We failed to even do that. As for the fans deserting and leaving with 20 minutes to go, are not the kind of scenes I like to see, especially considering the circumstances. We will get 20,000 at best for the nxt home game.

Agree with all of your post except the last bit. Thought Smith and Philips made a big impact on the game, its just a shame that it took about 75 mins to see the obvious. Surman and Lallana were getting dragged into the middle to much, but that was mainly due to this stupid diamond formation. Width was used when Smith and Philips came on. 442 please.

It would only be the shareholders that have taken the hit, so can't see why we would still be penalised, as long as it was done before Tuesday. As it stands, I don't think weve got a cat in hells chance of avoiding a points deduction.
