I remember begging my Dad to take me to football when I was a kid. First game was Pompey v Bristol City when I was 9, some fighting broke out where we were stood. It put me off a bit. Next game was Saints against Aston Villa 3rd round of our FA Cup winning year. Superb atmosphere in comparison and that was me hooked. So I will be taking my boys at a similar age(6 years away). I think by then we will be regulars in the Champions League.

Surely we have to play 4 4 2. We looked a different side when we changed for the last 15 mins on Saturday.

This after Leon Crouch pleaded to everyone to get behind the team even if things aren't going well. I was as peed off with this performance as anyone, but these are exceptional circumstances. In a few weeks there might not be a Saints to watch, you might then just wish you could watch Saints for one more time and savour every last minute of what time you have left with them. I am against the abuse of using the 'W' word, but to see so many fans leaving in their droves with 20 mins still to go, really dissapointed me.

My only hope is that we get shot of this stupid diamond out of shape midfield system. 4 4 2 with two wingers that can run at defenders with pace and skill (****** your right, weve had it).

Had this debate on another thread. I was saying the same as you but the reason given that the Forest game was so well supported was because it guaranteed a ticket for the Man Yoo game. It appeared to many, that the Man Yoo game was far more attractive, rather than trying to save our club from oblivion.
