  1. Whenever we play a weakened team or a team with nothing to play for, we always seem to end up losing it. Last season Burnley were the only game out of our last 5 that had no importance to them and that was the only one of those five we lost. Then there was, thee Man Utd game last of season ect ect.

Leyton Orient away, must have been 30 to 35 years ago and I was a passenger in a Citreon 2CV. Anyone who has been a passenger in a 2CV will know what its like when its raining, the passenger door bows when it reaches 40mph and all the rain comes in. To make matters worse they didn't come with a built in radio so by the time we got to the ground, 5 minutes from kick off, we found out the game had been called off due to waterlogged pitch.
  3. Lots of threads about removing Lowe, but what about ones removing Stanley ?
  4. He's not the only culprit. men in white coats n. (a) medical or laboratory staff, esp. doctors; (b) psychiatrists or psychiatric workers, usually (with humorous exaggeration) referred to in order to imply a person’s supposedly imbalanced or deluded state of mind. There coming to get you.
  5. Bothroyd is the player they miss most going by what their fans are saying on 606.

That might come in handy on the last game of the season.

    So's Ruperts.
  8. And its taken them this long to come up with something that must have taken 5 minutes to prepare.
  9. Beat me to it Trousers.
  10. Same here. The bit about in-fighting followed by bringing Leon Crouch back on board. That should make an interesting solution to the boardroom problems.
  11. Possible yes. We could make the play offs still.
  12. They did, but under circumstances that I'm sure someone else can explain better than me.
  13. I thought the way it worked was -10 points this season and -10 points next season if it was after the March date.
  14. Sounds about right and would be exceptable if we were'nt in so much trouble. This is what we need if we are to survive.
  15. Can't see us beating Cardiff, but apart from that I would agree.
  16. Interesting point. On the basis that the banks have told our board that we will go into admin if we continue with gates of 14,000 ish, I wonder if a public statement to that effect would entice fans to come back. Hypotheticaly speaking, if gates of say 20,000 would be needed until the end of the season, would we get the support needed ? Reading this forum I'd have to say No.
  17. If Wotte keeps us up, then like Nigel Pearson he deserves to be kept on by merit alone. I don't think Lowe going will make a massive difference to fans returning. Winning at home will though. But picking up on your first point, I still think we will be spending the season looking over our shoulders at the bottom of the league as we will still have to try and sell our better players in the summer, but without the finances to replace them. The good news is that the threat of administration will be gone if we sell well.
  18. Off subject a bit, but if Saga continues this form until the end of the season, then surely the bank will be happy in the Knowledge that we should be able to command a good fee for him in the summer transfer window ? This will help us towards holding off admin until then.(hopefully) Just seen Stanleys post along the same lines. Damn I've agreed with him on something.
  19. Crucial we win this one because I can't see us getting much more than a point from our following 2 away games against Ipswich and Brum.
  20. Yet he will believe he is the one in the right and its everyone else that has a problem. Some people are just like that, they can't accept criticism.

  22. I think thats what he's trying to say. With a squad like that we should never have been in relegation trouble in the first place. As he said, it was mis-management that got us into trouble. See what a difference a manager can do to destroy the confidence of one player like Saga, now you see the same player we had when he first signed and what a difference he is under different guidance. Same can be applied to Rasiak.

  24. Starting to get that De ja vu feeling with Wotte. Like last season with Pearson the jury is still out but signs of improvement are beggining to emerge. Lets just hope we don't go into admin just as we start to look like recovering. An unlikely win against Cardiff will see the start of fans returning.
