  3. Your Son sounds better than DMG, is he available next week ?
  4. I took it he meant Burley.
  5. DMG to score would have been more unlikely. Or dropped.
  6. If I'm right, Trousers is trying to see if it all ties in with the dates that we are rumoured to be going into admin. :smt115
  7. Know what your thinking.
  8. I remember reading Clapham Saints post and agree, we cannot wish to go down that route. A well written piece Nineteen, but I don't think it will change anyones mind. Personally I would have expected to hear a rallying cry from Crouch if we were that close.
  9. To protect his own investment ? If the debt is £5m and it was reduced to £3m surely the chance of going into adminstration would be slim bearing in mind the summer transfer window and contracts expiring. I agree the biggest stumbling block would be the Lowe/Wilde 40% control but surely if you were about to lose everything and someone came in to save your interest on a condition, would you not listen ?
  10. Can someone explain to me in dummie language how the following scenario wont work if the above is true. Lets say Leon Crouch was to put £2m into the bank to stave off administration (if it really is about to happen) on the basis that he is given a period of time to balance the books and reduce the remaining overdraft. This of course on the condition that Rupert lowe and Michael Wilde can have no further role in the company at any point other than just share holders. Surely the bank would support this idea ahead of administration. It seems so easy, so what am I missing ? yes no yes (on a playing side of things, don't have enough info on the financial aspects) no To thread question

  14. Preston got a new manager ?
  15. Glad to see you also, are among the people who think your opinion is fact. Well done.
  16. How far back are you going ? Weve been crap for a long time under JP.
  17. I blame the Doncaster Train, its jinxed I tell ya.. Send it back Rupes.
  18. I always predict we will win and do we heck as like. So going for a 0 v 3 defeat. Will reverse psychology work ?
  19. Rather have a bring back Hoddle campaign.
  20. Every available manager has failed somewhere except Burley and look where that got us. Hoddle failed, Strachan failed but both did well for us and had experience in the English league and knew what was required. Its a risk who ever is employed, its just a case of trying to minimize that risk the best you can. Wigley, Gray,Dodd and Dutch duo are in the high risk catergory, yet we (Rupert) still don't learn.
  21. Goes to prove that the dutch disaster wasn't the only option we could afford.
  22. With all the managers with English football experience, I cant believe that they can be dismissed as to expensive or not used to working with tight financial restraints as an excuse to not get as far as an interview. Harry Redknapp made it clear that Rupert Lowe was trying to impose his opinion that a team of youngsters was the way forward. This has always been Ruperts plan and with our financial problems being well publicised , this gave Rupert the perfect excuse to hide behind. Lets face it he would have done it regardless of our present plight.

    Next 2 games.

Win them both and everything will look very differently. 4 of our next 6 games are at home. One big problem though, we have to win our home games. Preston game will be the defining moment for me.
  24. Our only hope is for a couple of other clubs to enter administartion before the seasons end.
  25. Weve got half a dozen that fast.
