A thread to find out the Lowe Luvvies.
-
Surman would have to be at least £1m, can't see forest having that sort of money.
-
The reason we are struggling is because we haven't dropped him, Can't you see that now. Kelvin Davis would be our top scorer if he was our only striker that played all season. Saga is showing what he would have done if Burley hadn't ****ed him about.
-
One day we will win at home, but not this time. 2 v 2.
-
Exactly, the moment you have someone that thinks they know it all and wont take advice is the day you are in trouble.....oh.
-
Difference is Nick, The manager is the one that says he does or doesn't like those that are recommended to him, so for that part he takes the credit. Do you think Pearson would have wanted Pullis, Gasmi, Smith or the Guernsey Sunday league player ? Now if Pearson had not taken Websters advice, then he could have been critiscised.
-
 Leicester had better watch out then. Hope Mandarin face knows what he's doing.
-
He was a risky appointment, but at least he knew about the English game, and able to identify players.
-
Crouch messed up bringing in Dodd and Gorman, but he realised that fairly quickly and put it right with Pearson. Lowe on the other hand bought in a 3rd tier manager that new nothing about championship football.
-
I'm with you that I think we would be in a better position had Crouch and Pearson remained in charge, but not by much. As for SISSU, would you have really wanted them to take over us after the Sheff Utd game instead of Crouch ? In hindsight maybe, but at the time would you have ?
-
With the last game of the season, there were 3 teams above us that we could have caught by beating Sheff Utd. Coventry were one of them, Leicester the other.(cant remember 3rd) The comment that has been spouted that we would have gone down if Leicesters shot hadn't hit the post is wrong. Coventry would have gone down.
-
Crouch agreed to it so did Pearson.
-
In all fairness you did give the impression that you were compairing the market slide on a similar scale to our own.
-
So what ? Why does that make him our 4th choice goalie and why were we lucky ? More down to good management and contacts that know their stuff. Lucketti and Perry were looking a solid partnership which assisted in our survival. Before they came along we looked awful at the back and would have gone down for sure.
-
Thats a good excuse.
-
Shame, but if we get a good fee and a high earner off the books it should help stave off admin.
-
Lucky with Wright ? What was lucky about it, he was a proven quality keeper. At the time Kelvin was not having the best of seasons, granted he is now. As for our other 2 keepers, how can you suggest they were better ? Poor signings ? as in Lucketti and Perry ? This part of the post would suggest you are Rupert Lowe because you clearly dont know what you are talking about when it comes to football matters. Can you tell us why Rudi has been left out of the squad Rupert ? Stick to the finances and leave football matters to those you employ.

Local business community would back Leon, reckons Dossie
slickmick replied to Master Bates's topic in The Saints
Michael Wilde thought that aswell. -
If its from a Saints fan, it could be related to his business connections.
-
I still think there is some truth about the Lupoli rumour.
-
No reason for him not to play this weekend with Holmes out injured. No one will buy the excuse that he got injured during training again.
-
Apologies. My mistake.
-
Shame on them. If its from a Saints fan, how much lower can we go as a club. Some so called fans are a fecking disgrace.
